New Zealandowners were personally involved and organised for us to park our fancy old car on their driveway so it wasn’t out in the public carpark overnight

SingaporeAbsolutely loved it here - after 2 days of running the Queen Charlotte Track, this was a great place to stay and my favourite hotel on the track. The room I ended up staying in had a balcony and was very cosy, the location was beautiful, and the staff were great. Even without them getting my Kindle back to me, I'd have rated them a 10. Really enjoyed my stay here. Thank you!

PolandThis is the hotel where you feel like at home from the first step. Elisabeth welcomed us with a glass of wine and some cheese. The room reminds the bedroom in the palace. Everything is in a very good taste and quality. Lovely small hotel. Biggest asset of this place is staff. Elisabeth takes care of you from entry till departure. My stay was cut short due to Covid =lockdown, however the 2 nights i spent here was great, would recommend this hotel to others. Very clean spacious and well located for vineyards. Picton is a lovely place to spend a few days.. or explore further. Irish pub up the road was good for a drink. Mostly did our own cooking but nice cafes around the corner for lunch. Handy bus stop across the road. Went to Blenheim for a day ( check the timetable.. doesn’t go every day) Walked to Waikawa Bay and back. Edwin Fox museum worth going to as was the Mail Run cruise. Havelock is a delightful place. In the distant past I had only stopped whilst driving through, but as a relaxing place to stay it exceeded my expectations. Great place to spend a couple of nights amongst the vines tasting wines & experiencing the golden mile produce. The hydroponic strawberries are to dye for.
