Amazing stay! Alfredo, Leo and Carlos were all amazing as well as the rest of the staff! I was sick for 1 of the days there, and Alfredo went over and above to make sure I was okay! I can't say enough good things about the food. The rooms were lovely, and the excursions exceeded my expectations. Even without having fans, we stayed cool at night. My partner was worried that the night hikes didn't go enough into the jungle, but you could see everything from the resort ground, which is quite big. It definitely felt like a luxury resort by the way they cared for you. Thank you again to everyone at amak.

All the meals were great and authentic to the area, good variety. The four days were all scheduled from morning to night which we loved. So much to experience from nocturnal jungle hikes and going out in the nocturnal hunt canoe ride. Many boat excursions, swam near pink dolphins, caught several piranha fish, saw many species unique to the area. Birdwatching. Took out the kayak and paddle board during our 2 hour afternoon rest. The remote private bungalows were so comfortable and clean. Loved resting in the hammock on our balcony. Guide Mosises spoke English well , very knowledgeable and grew up in the area. Flew to Iquito, had hotel pick up, a van drove part way before loading the boat to go down the Amazon river to our remote lodge 140 km upstream from Iguito. Very easy all inclusive experience.

We spent four days with Liseth and her husband, Will. They helped us with our arrival and picked us up from Monkey Island with their boat. The food was delicious and healthy, made entirely from natural ingredients sourced locally and from their garden. Water, tea, and coffee were freely available. Everything was very clean and well-protected with mosquito nets. In the evenings, we could charge our devices. We also went on various jungle tours, tried fishing, spotted dolphins, petted monkeys and sloths, and chatted with the locals. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcomed us with open arms. There were very few tourists, making the experience truly authentic. My sister is a vegetarian, and her dietary needs were thoughtfully accommodated. We had so much fun, and our guide Asuco is an absolute expert in flora and fauna—highly recommended! You can even try hunting your own frog and doing Kambo if you like. For anyone seeking an authentic Amazon experience, Liseth and Will are the best choice. I also found the accommodation very affordable. Meals are included in the tours, and you don’t really have to worry about anything. Just let them know what you’d like to see and do. We’ll be back! Thank you, Liseth and Will. See you soon!

Just wow! Really great experience from start to finish. We had 3 nights at the lodge, and everything was great. They have only 4 bungalows, so place is not overcrowded. Food is something unreal! Million thanks to the chef! Local ingredients, super healthy, big portions - amazing! Guides are great, friendly and helpful. One more important thing (and the reason why I choose Eywa) - they offer private excursions, so you can manage your activities as you wish. 3 or ever 4 a day - many things to see, I won’t describe all - come and be amazed! Only advice- don’t postpone such things as sunset/sunrise trips and watching dolphins to the last day - the weather may be not perfect and you will not have another chance:(

This is an outpost in the middle of the Amazon rainforest, so of course we did not expect anything too fancy. Having said that, the lodge is an adorable place, simply made with mostly local materials, but beautifully designed. It takes a lot of work to keep everything clean and in working condition there, and all the necessary work was made in discreet ways, so that they would not bother the guests. What they have achieved is remarkable. The lodge employs many people from the local villages, thus enrolling the villages in conservation policies. There is one guide and one tracker for each group, and they take you around, on jungle walks and boat rides. Everything is as fascinating as you can imagine. We were very lucky and saw a lot of wildlife, including blue macaws, ant eater, sloths, monkeys, and so many colourful birds and butterflies. Food is delicious and the breakfast is very good. A special word for all the crew: guides, trackers, cooks and maintenance: all of them were really kind and knowledgeable. They go the estra mile to make the guests feel good. The lodge is powered with solar panels, batteries and a generator to complement the solar. Power is enough and never had an outage. Internet is available on the lobby/main hall, and works well most of the time. More than enough considering that you are in the middle of the jungle. This was a blast we will never forget. Higly recommendable if you love this sort of thing.

The tambo was extremely comfortable. I had plenty of room, a desk to do some work and two hammocks out the back with mosquito net protection to relax with the sounds of the jungle

Excellent communication and organisation (thanks Lizeth), friendly and professional staff. The tour includes pick up and drop off (from the airport or hotel) and transport to the lodge by boat. Great food and accommodation, very clean everywhere, exceptional facilities like pool and showers (which shouldn't be taken for granted in the jungle). Also great guides and tours, saw pink dolphins, monkeys, sloths, tarantulas, and many other animals and plants (e.g. victoria amazonica). Also stayed overnight in the Victoria Regia Hotel in Iquitos upon arrival. Can recommend, as the pickup for the boat is at 9, so there's plenty of time to enjoy the breakfast!

My guide Larry met me at the airport and we travelled to the lodge. Although it was 3 hours time went fast watching the landscape go by. It was dry season for my visit so unfortunately the river way very low and the lodge was not on the river as per photographed on booking. I do wish this was explained. Otherwise i had an amazing 5 days. The accommodation was clean, the food was ok. It was different everyday but simple. My guide Larry was exceptional. His knowledge of the jungle, outstanding, and his English was perfect. We made a plan on arriving for what it would like to do in my time. Highlight was the caiman night tour and lily pads.

The location is amazing -- right on the banks of the Amazon river. The lodge is completely screened in so you can experience the sights and sounds of nature (without all the mosquitoes). The family room is perfect for a family with 2-3 kids. Many other places don't have a pool and let me tell you -- the pool is a lifesaver to cool down in the hot afternoons! Our English-speaking guide did a great job personalizing daily adventures each day, from ziplining to visiting wild animals. The food was phenomenal! The chef was able to accommodate our pescatarian diet. Overall, they welcomed us like family and we would recommend the Avatar for a once in a lifetime experience!
