The location is secluded. It is super peaceful, and cute puppies welcome you every morning. You can easily spend the day reading in the hammock or exploring the region. Make sure you have a car or arrange a tricycle for the day.

The place is simple with a nice and cozy feel to it. It is an accommodation with character. I liked the white interior and the " home made architecture ". At night time the bamboo lined walkway had a special appeal. The owners Alex and Alph are some of the nicest and most interesting people that I met on my journeys. They are both travelers themselves and during the long conversations with them I got suggestions about where to go in the Philippines, places that are not mentioned in the Lonely Planet guidebook. They are both multi talented people and Alex is an artist on top of that. I felt that I had stayed with friends. Hospitable and generous. Besides the Kasa Raya they also built an accommodation right at the beach for those that like peace and quiet.

Sleeping with the roar of the ocean, cooking on an outside grill, the lengths the owner would go to to serve any and all needs, the helpfulness of Edgar, who couldn't do enough and never moaned when I couldn't light the bbq, the eco-farm of amazing produce....everything.
