ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS RESORT. They put a lot of thought and care into the whole experience and you can see they definitely care about the environment and ocean. I loved that the dive centre was on the resort, very easy just to wake up and do a dive each morning. The crew and boat was absolutely amazing. My friend doesn't dive but had a great time snorkeling with another guide at each dive spot. You can snorkel right in front of the resort which is all very untouched. The staff are absolutely lovely as well. Shout out to B who helped us with dinner each night. Food was also delicious.

The staff is absolutely amazing and helpful! Breakfast has great choices. Happy hour drinks were reasonably priced. The room is very clean. The hotel is about 15-20 minutes walk to the town proper. Would definitely stay there again next time!

What a great surprise! After a three-day boat expedition between El Nido and Coron, choosing Casa Mario's turned out to be the best decision ever. The staff was very welcoming and professional. As soon as we arrived, they offered us a cup of tea and water, and we were given chairs to relax in while the check-in was completed. The room was amazing—well-decorated, with a nice shower and air conditioning.

It was spotless, very modern and comfortable. The staff was very attending und helpful. They booked for us amazing tour and the trip back to the airport. The Breakfast was delicious. We used pool only once but it was also nice. There was also netflix in the room. The Hotel was cheaper than hostel in El nido… you can compare the quality!! Would definitely stay there again.

This was the best place we stayed at in the Philippines! We loved it! Our room was super comfortable and clean and tidy. Great water pressure in the shower and air-conditioning worked well and not super noisy like other places. Excellent location close to town centre, but also quiet and well positioned away from noisy traffic. Filtered water available on upper floors, along with tea and coffee. We could also buy bottled water, soft drinks and beer at reception for a very reasonable price. We had breakfast there one day too, and it was delicious. If you stay, make sure to check out the roof top. Beautiful view. Best of all, were the staff. Super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Thank you so much.

Don’t miss out on a drink in the jacuzzi bar at the pool area, be sure to book a private beach setup for dinner at sunset. for private tours, don’t miss out on Coron Island ultimate tour and the island hopping tour to Malcapuya Island and 2 others if you wish. the lunch provide at prearranged locations exceeded expectations. You can also take a walk across the sandbar at low tide to Bulog Dos Island and get your guide to tell you more and take photos for you, some of the staff are very talented with using iPhones so be sure to seek them out to get your postcard perfect shots. Also, the waters are full of marine life from baby sharks to stingrays and each time you pop in the clear waters is quite an experience to be surrounded by tropical fish.     The service was definitely exceptional! Would definitely come back and book with the same resort. Calling for tricycles and shuttle service was convenient. Moreso, for the tours if booked with the resort since they provide you with the towels as well. Our room was upgraded and it was such a perfect view of the entire hotel. The breakfast buffet was amazing as well and was very much worth the price! I really enjoyed my stay here. Will surely recommend this place to others.

    The staff is very kind, and we had a really good stay. The food was also great, and we enjoyed a calm and comfortable experience. They offer different services, such as kayak rentals, which we tried and really enjoyed. If you’re looking for a peaceful place with beautiful views, we highly recommend staying here. We also woke up very early to watch the sunrise, and the views were absolutely gorgeous.

    Sangat is a hidden gem! I can only recommend it for a diving adventure or relaxing by their private beach and enjoying some nice food. The diving center team was also amazing, with the wrecks being so close to the hotel. Staff was super nice and tours are recommended too.

    The calamian group of islands of which Coron is part of, is beautiful. And I hope all the measures to keep it pristine and unlittered will be successful always. There are many breathtaking sights. You would need a sizable budget though to be able to enjoy the boat tours which are wonderful. If you have the time, visit Culion. It is historical (a UNESCO site), and while the places to see could do a little tidying up, nevertheless, the history of that place invites reflection and inspires--many heroic people lived on that island. Kudos to the religious who have kept the place going since it was first established. The Culion museum should be your first stop.

    The place is nice but quite far from the mainland (30-40mins boat ride). It is good for people who like privacy but not for those who would want to explore and try out different food and places in Coron town. The rooms are nice and most of the staff are pleasant. Food is just ok. The biggest drawback is the value for money. I think you can find more of the same island life ambiance elsewhere without breaking the bank. I regret not choosing Sunlight resorts or heading to Lio in El Nido instead. Take note when booking they charge for extra adult in excess of 2 people for most of the rooms even though they are still considered children (10 years old and older will be charged more or less100 USD). I would not recommend staying here it is not worth it.

    Rooms are spacious, big selection if breakfast, friendly hotel staff. Infinity pool is okay, could have a bit deeper though. The other pool is undergoing refurbishment. Island hoping are a must to do. We ate in the town where they served fresh sea food.I think its called Island boy Grill. Outside the hotel the tricycle ride are ideal to get round Coron town proper for merely 30 pesos.

    Day trips to beautiful beaches and islands is what Coron is about. The town is dirty and chaotic. And hotels are overpriced for what you get. 3 or 4 days is enough to enjoy the diving and snorkelling options which are wonderful. Lots of rubbish floating around in the ocean and on the beaches which seems to be a south east Asia problem. Over all some stunning scenery well worth visiting and exploring
