FAQs about hotels in Baltic Sea
Sandy Beaches, Amber and Fishing Villages
Wide sandy beaches and warm summer weather attracts thousands of tourists to the Polish Baltic Coast every year. Spreading from the city of Świnoujście to the resort of Jurata at the Hel Peninsula, this region is also known as the Polish Riviera.
The Baltic Coast is rich in picturesque fishing villages, where you can still see fishermen taking their boats out before dawn and coming back with their catch in the afternoon. Chłopy, Jarosławiec and Rewa are just a few of them.
The most popular sea resorts along the Baltic Coast include Kołobrzeg, a city combining modern facilities, historic buildings and plenty of entertainment options, Międzyzdroje, called the Pearl of the Baltic and popular for its beaches and cliffs and Ustka, a fishing port with two major beaches connected by a ferry.
You can try some amber fishing as the region is exceptionally rich in the Baltic amber and sometimes it takes just as much as a walk along the beach to find some washed up samples. Don’t forget about the famous dunes in Słowiński National Park, featuring over 140 km of hiking trails.
Whether you’re into relaxing on the beach or more active holidays, the region offers plenty of opportunities to fulfil all your needs. For a perfect accommodation, visit Booking.com and find the best hotels on the Baltic Coast.

- From US$183.76 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 2,693 reviewsThe hotel boasts an unparalleled location, situated directly on the seafront, providing breathtaking sea views. My room exceeded expectations; not only was it immaculate, but it also featured a range of modern amenities for a comfortable stay. As for dining, the culinary offerings were exceptional, featuring a diverse menu that catered to various tastes. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the warm and accommodating staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable, providing helpful recommendations and attentive service. Beyond the room and dining, the wellness facilities truly enhanced our stay. The swimming pool was inviting and well-maintained, perfect for both leisurely swims and energizing laps. The jacuzzi provided a soothing escape, while the sauna and steam room offered a detoxifying experience. The cold showers and ice room were a refreshing contrast, effectively invigorating the senses. Finally, the relaxation areas offered a tranquil space to unwind, rounding out an extensive list of facilities designed for ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation.Guest review byJacekPoland
- From US$134.83 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 5,567 reviewsOur short holiday was marvellous because of Arka medical spa. There were plenty kinds of food during breakfast and dinner and they were very delicious, thanks for them. The staff always tries to help and to support us. The hotel is closed to the Baltic, so we went there any time of the day. Also, there are lots of spa procedures in the hotel, like massages, sauna, swimming pool, fitness and etc. I really recommend Arka Medical Spa if you would like to have great time on your holiday.Guest review byIsrailovaPoland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 184 reviewsAbsolutely everything. Houses are spot on clean. Pool is heated & jacuzzi hot. Everything is closed so kids can run around and they can't escape. Next to the resort you have pizza & other food to purchase- perfect for lunch for everyone. You can order a Melex that will take you for 5zl to the city centre- 5 minutes drive. Beach not far away. But the most important people who take care of the resort Pani Bozenka I Pan Piotr are so nice and accommodating- you come back just for them.Guest review byMaggie180987United Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 57 reviewsMeal in our own business but the provider offers really good equipped kitchen. But the highlight ist the combination of the place itself with the nature and close nature. This is combined with the great playgrouds for the kids and swimming pools directly in the area. We got really good recommendations for the area but the reality excedded the reputation.Guest review byPavolGermany

It was our first time in that city, and the Baltic shore, in general. We were in Poland before, and we loved Kołobrzeg and its beaches. If you're a foodie, you will love it here too, since there are tons of options to eat, to choose from. The weather wasn't that hot, but that didn't hold us back from swimming in the sea.Guest review byBernie2019Germany - 10.0
I've been going there since 2006.
I've been going there since 2006. It's a little patch of paradise that I look forward to visiting every couple of years. Very clean, lively, family friendly and safe. They've done lots of work over the years to make a wonderful promenade as well. The beach is always clean and visitors do their part to keep it that way. And the beach bars outrank the beach bars on the German side of the border (Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf) any day of the summer!Guest review byRobertGermany - 6.0

There are a lot of vacationers in the city, too many advertisements, there is a lack of general peace. We did not bring any souvenirs, because they are all the same (most likely made in China). We saw the same souvenirs in Jestrebia Gora and Hel. The good thing is that there are many different shops where you can buy food.Guest review byDaumantasLithuania - 8.0
A coastal tourist destination.
A coastal tourist destination. Great for the kids and young at heart. Expect fast food and souvenir shops. A railway station is on the edge of town and a new multi-land freeway is being built (as on Sept 2024). A huge number of places to eat but the variation in food can be limited. If you're into pizza, pasta and burger, then you'll be fine. Hotel offer better cuisine. Fantastic beach, with all of it's usual drawbacks (kids and dogs..!) The weather off the Baltic can be pretty brutal but it can also be gorgeous, so be prepared for either..!Guest review byRickUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Very touristy in August as expected, but no trouble finding a place to stay and lots of restaurants. Some areas are very walkable, but the beach was insanely crowded. We did the long hike forest/ beach/ dune hike at Slowinsky park and it was beautiful and interesting but quite challenging. From Leba it is a 45 minute drive so don’t believe it when someone tells you it is close.Guest review byMurray3 - 10.0
The beach is amazingly accessible.
The beach is amazingly accessible. You can get right to the center of Mielno by train or minibus. It's a 15-minute walk to the beach from the transportation hub. All you have to do is walk up one of several well-paved streets with trees and sidewalks, and you are there on the beach. Beaches are free! Lots of good restaurants a stone's throw away. The town does a good job with waste disposal. Barely any litter anywhere. I was so impressed.Guest review byAnneUnited States - 8.0
Nice beach with a high cliff side.
Nice beach with a high cliff side. Do not come here if you have mobility issues as most entrances require walking a long flight of stairs. Too high for small children, older people etc. A bit further away from the centre, there is an entrance with much fewer steps, however. The amount of bars and restaurants is very big but nothing outstanding. "U Rybaka" is popular but expensive and not really great for the price. Long queues every day there but not sure why. We ate twice there and it was average. A bit too busy especially over long weekends. The downside is that apart from the beach and walking, there is not much to do there. So 5 days I s probably enough to stay there and see everything you need.Guest review byIzabelaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I am again extremely happy to be able to visit Ustka. This time it was only few days in October but it was so worth it. We had sunny days and we walk close to the water. Food at the restaurant located at the Promenade was fabulous 👏👏😊 I will highly recommend to visit Ustka because when you do you will want to come back! Kindly, I.S.Guest review byIvona - 10.0

A classic smaller town, some sights, entertainment, restaurants, a port with a pier and promenade, boat trips. There is a military museum in the town. You can take long walks along the beach, bike trips. In nearby Niechorze there is a lighthouse museum (great!).Guest review byMichalCzech Republic
