FranceQuiet hotel, in a beautiful village. The staff is kind and helpful. The breakfasts are good. And the value for money is really, really good.
But there's one great point about this hotel : It's located close to the "Wolf's lair". This place is one of the major locations in the history of WW2. If you go to that hotel, I definitely recommend you visit this touristic place.

Amazing view on the lake, facilities for barbecue, kayaks, sauna, private beach (with grass), table tennis. Grocery store is in 4 minutes ride, where you can buy everything you need. Mikolajki 30 min ride. Take into account that they don't have restaurant or bar, be prepared to take food (even sault) and drinks with you or to buy that in a store. Giżycko is a nice small town with low-rise buildings and a picturesque views on the lake. Marina is small, but you can find there something that suits your taste: sailing or motor boat trip, walking or souvenir shopping, enjoying some local food together with a soothing view. For a lunch try local places called 'smażalnie ryb' with some freshwater fish specialities, but don't expect much)). Fort Boyen, Water Tower and the Swing Bridge are worth seeing! Great overall place in beautiful Mazury Region. All you need, without crowds. Our favorite eatery? Port-O-Wino There is a modern, full service Marina, fresh Japanese and Italian food with some Thai dishes. Great wine selection, happy and prof. staff and amazing sunset views. The first thing that welcomed us to the city was the stench.
