- From £121.29 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.1Good - What previous guests thought, 1,248 reviewsWhat a delightful experience! The breakfast spread was both delicious and diverse, offering something for everyone. The highlight, of course, was the stunning beach - simply paradise. The path to the beach was a welcome shortcut, leading to a breathtaking beach that our family adored. Our kids had a blast at the pools, and there were plenty of free activities for them to enjoy. The shorter path to the beach added convenience to our stay, and we couldn't have asked for a better time. The ferry trip and dolphin watching were unforgettable. Despite some minor hiccups, we'd definitely return! There was even a foam party!!Guest review byYaraGermany
- From £97.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 632 reviewsAmazing quiet stay at a beautiful property. The staff were so kind and we were in love with Nina the resident cat. Super sweet kitty, we miss her already. The breakfast was very nice, all sorts of items so something for everyone. Dina was very lovely too, but all staff made us feel very welcome. Coffee machine, microwave and water boiler in our house was great. And the spa bath was also amazing in November/ December to stay warm. Thanks for the lovely days!Guest review byNathalieNetherlands

Its about 5 minutes walk from the main street so very central. Lovely pool area which we didnt get to use because of the weather. Breakfast was very good. I would recommend staying 2 nights in Porto Covo if starting the Fisherman's Trail there.Guest review byMarianIreland

Great little town that provides good access up and down the west coast of Portugal. The beach nearby or on the other side of the river is excellent for a relaxed day and the town itself has a good number of restaurants/cafes etc. You can: - spend time at the beach - explore the coast (by car or walking) - paddleboard, kayak etc along the river - wander the town stopping at cafes/gelaterias/restaurants - all of the aboveGuest review bySapanUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic.
A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic. A great place for a short visit if you like to avoid the crowds or to look for accomodation if you plan to explore the gorgeous 'vicentina' coast, with car access to many great beaches. Most of these beaches are likely to be too 'wild' for most people, with difficult access, but they are perfect for the more adventurers and, again, for those who prefer to avoid the crowds. Plus, there are a few places in the village centre where you can enjoy a really tasteful light meal, of which I'd definitely reccommend the restaurants 'Ao Largo' and 'Casa Verde'.Guest review byTiagoPortugal - 10.0

Sines is a great starting spot to explore both the super-long pretty much unbroken beach to the north that goes all the way to Troia, and the small pictoresque "cove" beaches to the south of Sines. The town is a bit rugged, and definitely not a fancy place, but so much more authentic for it. I guess it's pretty far down the perfect-spot tourist ladder and that's frankly absolutely great.Guest review byMartinCzech Republic - 10.0

It was low season and there was not much going on. It appears that apart from the beach and one golf club there is not so much to be done in Troia. There were a few restaurants but not that many. Supermarket in the village was extremely, expensiveGuest review byIrmgardPortugal - 10.0

Lovely hostess, fabulous location high up so we enjoyed the sunset. Apartment was very clean & well equipped, large, comfortable bed. Wifi very strong. Nice luxury whilst walking 12 days of the Fisherman's trail. Beware the Mercado in the town was closed at 3.30 so we purchased sardines, cheese & wine fir our dinner at the apartment as it us 2.5km out of townGuest review byKerrie - 2.0

The apartment was not in Comporta which was about 15 mins drive away. I would not recommend visiting in March as there was very little to do nearby. It is probably a lovely place to stay in the Summer monthsGuest review byJacquelineUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Had two nights here. Quiet village, the beach and beach bar made it worth staying the extra night. The hostel is in a side street very quiet two minute walk to a cafe/grocery store. Five minute walk to the beach.Guest review byLloydAustralia - 10.0
A nice and quiet place, with small nice restaurants.
A nice and quiet place, with small nice restaurants. Some bridges with different coloured light cross the Sado river, joining the two halves of the town, and give a touch of magic to the town during the night. Two huge stork-nest on the top of the Cathedral complete a very suggestive picture of the town.Guest review byAlbertoItaly - 10.0
