- From US$210.07 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 970 reviewsVery central hotel. We arrived very early morning and they allowed us to store our luggage and use the bathroom. We were also able to check in earlier. Our family room was upgraded to luxury family room. The staff were excellent and made us feel extremely welcome. The room was fantastic with views to die for. Although there are restaurants around, once the windows were closed we could not hear a thing. The aircon worked well. Room spacious, beds excellent and the balcony was a bonus. Breakfast excellent and all we needed. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Pity we could only stay one night. See you again!Guest review byJolandiSouth Africa
- From US$233.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 3,641 reviewsThe suites on the 6th floor are spectacular especially with the ocean view. The staff were extremely friendly and the front desk manager, Mr. Paulo took care of my family and I and made sure we got that we paid for and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. The pools are clean, large and appealing to enter. Water is so refreshing. The included breakfast is worth it, delicious food, fresh fruit and lots of options. We will definitely return next time we are in Cascais.Guest review byCarloCanada

Oeiras is a suburb of Lisbon, so not overwhelmed by tourists. We found some great places to eat that were appreciative of our custom. There was a fantastic vegan restaurant just outside the town centre (Alma Veg). The main problem for us was the ddual carriageway that passes right by the beaches.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Estoril is ideal for singles, couples and families who want...
Estoril is ideal for singles, couples and families who want a relaxing break away. There are plenty of hotels, bars, cafes and restaurants but there isn’t a specific area or ‘strip’ of these, they are just dotted around. The casino and its garden are a dominant and attractive focal point so there are a few places near to it. There’s Portuguese food, of course, but also Italian, Chinese, Indian and Japanese. You can get fish and seafood dishes of any sort but there’s also lots of steak on offer. Prices are very reasonable. Some people travel in and out of the town specifically and solely to use the beach by day or the casino by night, some to attend events at the glamorous looking fort on the beach, so the town isn’t dead but it can feel quiet at certain times. It’s definitely a chilled out place to stay in. There are only a few local shops for groceries and not really any souvenir shops. In my opinion, it has more of a local, residential vibe and isn’t touristy. For a change of scene, by train Cascais is just a 5 minute ride away or Lisbon is about 40 minutes away. It’s great to visit either and then escape the crowds by returning to Estoril! There is currently a replacement bus service in operation after 9pm (not sure how easy that is to use) but at other times the trains are very frequent and inexpensive.Guest review byPaulaUnited Kingdom - 6.0

It's becoming too crowded, and it is no longer safe at night on the beach or the promenade. Prices have gone up a lot in restaurants and cafés, and most of the time, the quality of the food and service doesn't justify it. Another nice place lost to the excess of tourism.Guest review byBernardoPortugal - 8.0
Nice quite town.
Nice quite town. We were staying near by the train station. quite a few shops and restaurants with great seafood selection, cafeteria, pharmacy around. chinese mini supermarket where you can buy anything you can imagine (non food), walk to the beach is about 7minGuest review bySviat_FNetherlands - 10.0

Paco de Arcos was a short 20 minute ride from the airport and just outside the city center. It is a quaint town, quiet and had great restaurants, lovely people and easy access to both train transit and beaches. You can walk all the way to Lisbon along the waterfront with many beaches and landmarks. We did a day trip to Cascais via the train and were completely at ease for our entire stay. Our best outing was a day trip to visit many of the Knight's Templar historical sites with a local guide who was a history buff and shared much of his knowledge with us.Guest review byDiannaCanada - 6.0

The area was full of Quality built property with lots of trees, there were a good choice of supermarkets, the beaches were good, plenty of resturants bars and cafes, there was a nice small park.I dont go out drinking and I did not have details of any alternative evening activities, except for the excellent 4 evenings of musical entertainment at cascais festival. I ate all my meals at save the world hostels as it was my plan to walk and sight see in the morning take a break at lunchtime and do the same in the afternoon and read my books as well.Pingo Doice supermarket you could get a cup of coffee and a custard tart in their cafe for 1 euro.At Aldi Supermarket you could buy a packet of Markus Bio ground coffee (exc) Spar Supermarket exc choices only 7 mins away.Guest review byPeter - 8.0

It's a cosy little apartment, very well situated, with a lovely large patio, garden with swimming pool. However, being at the garden level I was surprised at how dark it was during the daytime. The kitchen and bathroom definitely need an upgrade for the price they are asking. Overall, a comfortable place for a short visit.Guest review byLynn & FrancoisCanada - 10.0
Very nice and relaxing stay near the beach.
Very nice and relaxing stay near the beach. Old town offers lovely lodging and all that one needs for visiting a beach town. Good restaurants, shops, some historic sites to see, cycling available, lots of beach options North and South from town. Easy to train to Lisbon without having to stay overnight in the big city. Easy to get to Sintra via uber, bus, train or car. Loved it and would love to come back.Guest review byMariUnited States - 8.0
All best beaches in Lisbon Subarban are located in Oeiras...
All best beaches in Lisbon Subarban are located in Oeiras region. If booked a hotel this region , all the prominent beaches like Carcevelos , Cascais are all reachable in short duration by the Moffusil train. Beach lovers can think staying in Oeiras region . Please note , I found public transport is not much effective or the frequency is very low , lot of time waiting for a bus , and finally have to depend on Taxis most time, that May shell out more expenseGuest review byKarthik IndIndia
