The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond for us while we stayed for my Fiance' birthday surprising us with a cake and mini champagne and note to the room was such a special gesture. The hotel was spotless clean, breakfast was filled with a variety of choices, the gym was a great range of equipment for a hotel gym and the location was ideal close to metro station and other amenities. Would highly recommend staying here.

A bakery and coffee shop are just a stone's throw away, ideal for morning refreshments. Additionally, the presence of a restaurant ensures that dining options are readily available. The inclusion of a laundry shop, along with a hairdresser and nail salon, further enhances the convenience factor of this resort.One of the standout features of Vila Bicuda is the daily cleaning service, ensuring a continuously pristine environment throughout our stay. Initially, my plan was for a brief visit of a couple of days, but the ambiance and facilities led me to extend my stay to approximately 10 days.The provision of free parking right at the villa is a significant advantage, especially for those traveling with vehicles. Furthermore, each villa comes with a fully equipped kitchen, which is ideal for those preferring home-cooked meals or staying for longer durations.     Praia do Sal Resort is a perfect place to stay for those who seek serenity and home-like luxury. The apartments are spacious, clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool / river view <3 The facilities are great (the pool is beautiful and clean, there are enough sunbeds for the guests). The resort is eco-friendly. The staff is very professional, helpful and kind - their positive attitude is contagious :) During our stay we were informed about the local festival, which turned out to be a very interesting event (we recommend August stays). The location is wonderful - close enough to Lisbon (travelling through the bridge is really nice); by the river beach (full of shells, crabs, etc.) and with the shops within the walking distance. The Omaggio Restaurant is excellent - we planned our trips the way that allowed us to eat dinner there (everything was delicious, fresh and wholesome). Many thanks to the Reception Team for doing their best to make our holiday unforgettable <3 Should we ever be back in this part of Portugal, we will definitely stay in Praia do Sal Resort!

    We liked the location very much: a quiet pedestrian street in an old part of Lisbon. Still a residential area despite some tourist accommodation. Lots of small cafes very close by, some traditional, some trendy. You'll be close to the Puppet Museum and a 10m walk away from the excellent Museu de Arte Antinguo, where there's a beautiful riverside garden and cafe. It's a 15 to 20 minutes walk in the other direction to the central Praca do Commercio. If you don't like walking, catch a tram or an Uber. Inside, the studio apartment is a bright, well designed space on the ground floor. The kitchen is well equipped and we very much appreciated the washing machine. Shower gel, cleaning products etc all provided, which made for an easy stay. There's a spacious cupboard which is big enough for those of us who don't travel light! We would certainly come back to this apartment if it was available. We come to Lisbon a lot and this was one of the best apartments we've found for price and location.

    Gorgeous view - I got a room with the ocean view and it was spectacular. The breakfast was very good, wide selection, and with the possibility of eating outs on the terrace, again, with the view of the ocean and pool. Staff was very accommodating - I made 2 bookings for 3 nights, and they managed to combine them so that I did not have to move rooms, and also allowed for later check out. Amazing terrace in the room and a bathtub with the view of the ocean. It was divine!

The nearby Sintra region eas gorgeous with its Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle. So sorry the other palaces were closed because of the fear of wildfire (Regaleiro and the Muslim one)

    We came for one weekend in the Festas do Mar. We had a great time. The festival was great, with our favorite Portuguese musicians, and we went to see the mercado, some art galleries and just wandered around town as well. Had a great time.

    The place for surfing, sun and beach life. Several kilometers of gorgeous sandy beaches and nice waves, suitable also for the beginning surfers. All the necessary services are available. People are still friendly for tourists and most understand English or Spanish in addition to Portuguese. Lots of young people and families there, not just elderly.

    Oeiras is a suburb of Lisbon, so not overwhelmed by tourists. We found some great places to eat that were appreciative of our custom. There was a fantastic vegan restaurant just outside the town centre (Alma Veg). The main problem for us was the ddual carriageway that passes right by the beaches.

    Estoril is ideal for singles, couples and families who want a relaxing break away. There are plenty of hotels, bars, cafes and restaurants but there isn’t a specific area or ‘strip’ of these, they are just dotted around. The casino and its garden are a dominant and attractive focal point so there are a few places near to it. There’s Portuguese food, of course, but also Italian, Chinese, Indian and Japanese. You can get fish and seafood dishes of any sort but there’s also lots of steak on offer. Prices are very reasonable. Some people travel in and out of the town specifically and solely to use the beach by day or the casino by night, some to attend events at the glamorous looking fort on the beach, so the town isn’t dead but it can feel quiet at certain times. It’s definitely a chilled out place to stay in. There are only a few local shops for groceries and not really any souvenir shops. In my opinion, it has more of a local, residential vibe and isn’t touristy. For a change of scene, by train Cascais is just a 5 minute ride away or Lisbon is about 40 minutes away. It’s great to visit either and then escape the crowds by returning to Estoril! There is currently a replacement bus service in operation after 9pm (not sure how easy that is to use) but at other times the trains are very frequent and inexpensive.

    Booked last minute on our travels. Loved it . Staff very helpful My only complaint would be that the hotel didn’t sell alcoholic beverages but it wasn’t a problem. A small bar 2 minutes away ( lovely) and Lidl next door

    It's becoming too crowded, and it is no longer safe at night on the beach or the promenade. Prices have gone up a lot in restaurants and cafés, and most of the time, the quality of the food and service doesn't justify it. Another nice place lost to the excess of tourism.

    Alcochete is a very quiet place, every points of interest are at walking distance. You would find Bank, gardens, restaurants and coffee shops every where and friendly staff always ready to attend your queries and guide you the best possible. Recommended place to spend quiet times and enjoy good Portuguese cuisine.

    The staff at Goa Square were friendly, helpful, and always available with recommendations. The rooms themselves were spotless and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. Plus, the location in Amadora is great for exploring Lisbon. There are plenty of sights nearby, and it's easy to get around. Just a heads-up that there can be some noise from the cuisine at night, so light sleepers might want to pack earplugs. Overall, though, a great stay!
