Fantastic, very smart, excellent staff and facilties. On a motorbike and free underground parking, lovely town however did struggle to get a decent meal. We stayed extra days due to poor weather. Drinks in the bar, not expensive and a restaurant, however not open Sunday and Monday night but you can get bar meals. I would stay here again.. loads of TV channels.

The location was very good. The staffs were very friendly. We were supposed to book 1 bed for dad and son but they provided us 2 beds that made us very comfortable.

Casa Dos Correios in Vila Real is truly a hidden gem! We stayed here for one night during our wine tour in the Douro region. The place is simply perfect and charming. The rooms are exactly as advertised, if not better. The beds were very comfortable and we had the best sleep here! One of the highlights is how the history of the house, once an old post office, is thoughtfully woven throughout the property. It was fascinating to learn about its past while enjoying such a modern and beautiful space. There is also a local hiking path with a waterfall closeby, which we unfortunately didn't have time to explore. Hope to come back someday! A big thank you to the owner/manager, who was very friendly and helpful :)

Every morning it was a real pleasure to have my breakfast in the garden, surrounded by the chirping of the birds, the sight of the mountains and the great conversation with Senhora Gonçalves. The area is really quiet and relaxing, such a wonderful stay!

The natural environment has been reflected in the interior planning and design. This makes the refuge a luxurious yet tranquil place in tune with its surroundings. The Breakfast was superb. We had a very nice stay, the cabin/tiny house where we stayed was very clean and well maintained. Beautiful surrounding in nature. Would definitely recommend and will likely be back some day again! :)
