- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 125 reviewsThe house is spacious and full of natural light. Even though we visited in winter, the house was warm and cozy, thanks to the two air conditioning units that provided excellent heating. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Upon my request, he kindly provided slippers for the house, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. A special highlight of our stay was the delicious homemade cake prepared for us by the owner’s wife – it was absolutely amazing and made us feel so welcome! The house itself is impeccably clean and fully equipped with everything you need, including a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable living spaces. The location is fantastic, surrounded by stunning nature and close to hiking trails. The views from the windows were spectacular, especially during sunrise and sunset. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking to explore northern Portugal while enjoying the comfort and hospitality that make you feel right at home. A big thank you to the owners for their exceptional kindness and attention to detail!Guest review byYanaPortugal

The location couldn't have been better, with easy access to some of the best wineries in the area. Whether you're planning tastings, tours, or just looking to relax in wine country, this spot puts you right in the heart of it all. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a perfect getaway!Guest review byRicardoPortugal
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 114 reviewsVery quiet and peaceful place with nice views. Vítor was always available for any problem or a question and was kind enough to let me use the kitchen of the main house. The Quinta is well maintained and with nice veraity of farm animals and even an Emu bird. I enjoyed taking long walks on the Ecovia do Vez , 30 km of trails that start from Ponte de Barca to Sistelo.Guest review byGuyIsrael

It was nice to be able to buy some local produce from the owner. The kit hen was well-equipped. I wish we had stayed longer and had a wine tour. - From £103.96 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 76 reviewsBreakfast OK. Location - great views during the day, approach a bit tricky. Follow the signs for Casa Da Li when you get closer, not the GPS that may lead into some very narrow streets. Location itself is great once you get into the gates.Guest review byDenisPortugal

It a lovely town have a chilled vibe.
It a lovely town have a chilled vibe. It is is easy to walk and finding parking wasn't too bad either. It's a good place to base yourself if you have a car as there are many good attractions not far by car. There are loads of good restaurants. There are a few scenic things to see such as the bridge, the water clock, some murals and a lovely boardwalk along the river. Don't miss the science centre (Centro Ciência Viva). They have a lovely river beach and awesome municipal pool. I have also attended the medieval market and reenactment of a historical battle (recriação histórica do recontro de Valdevez) at the Castle (Paço de Giela) - that was pretty cool. At Christmas time, be sure to go see the enchanted forrest (floresta encantada).Guest review byal_ice_sPortugal - 10.0

Os Poetas is located on the same street as an amazing restaurant: "Crónicas da Vila". The two, the hotel and the restaurant, constituted the best welcome I could have had after a long bike ride from Ponte de Lima.Guest review byNunoPortugal - 10.0

A really traditional and unspoilt village in breathtaking setting. Local cuisine served in several restaurants and lovely to mingle with the locals in small bars . Farming community with river meandering through and goats rooming in the fields.Guest review byemmaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The trail to the castle is pretty nice to do, and the views on top are great. The multiple restaurants offer the same type of food but still very good. Melgaço is pretty close by, as is the Peneda Gerês Park. Walking around the town is calm and relaxing as it's a pretty small villageGuest review byBruno SilvaPortugal - 10.0
Great walks. Lovely scenery. Friendly folks.
Great walks. Lovely scenery. Friendly folks. Shame about the yappy dogs everywhere but if you are travelling without dogs you probably won't notice it so much. Download a walking app to help you. Take a drive towards Boimo. The views at the top are spectacular. Weather is of course changeable so be prepared for all kinds of weather. Pastel de nata from the Panaderia in Soajo are very good too.Guest review byErna RubensUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Arcos de Valdevez is a very clean and well-kept town — a true pleasure to visit. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with charming streets and beautiful surroundings. Not all restaurants accept credit cards, but ATMs are available and easy to find. A lovely place for a relaxed stroll, good food, and exploring the local culture. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!Guest review byKuzeykoUnited States - 10.0
I have nothing negative to say about our stay.
I have nothing negative to say about our stay. It exceeded all expectations and set a high bar for our accommodation expectations for continued travel. Sonia and Antonio were incredible hosts and I highly recommend Just Natur Guesthouse for anyone visiting the area. We enjoyed every side trip outside the village and each was within easy reach. It was surprising to see at least 5 restaurants in the village.Guest review byShane - 10.0

Soajo is a great gateway to the surrounding Peneda-Gerês national park. It is accessible by public busses from Arcos de Valdevez central station (see https://www.avic.pt/home), and close to trails. The town has minimarket and two bakeries, so it is easy to buy anything one needs. It is also nearby the barrage and the town of Lindoso with a castle. The villages in the area also have famous Espigueiros. The area is home to famous Portuguese Garrano horses and antique cattle breed of Cachena cows. People are very friendly and helpful, and the scenery, specially the dramatic ravines and dells, are iconic.Guest review byDanielCzech Republic - 4.0

We were unimpressed with & frustrated with No offer to help elderly with luggage, across rough surfaces from the parking area . No resolution for overly warm room, & malfunctioning safe. Issues with refrigerator not cooling, nonpaved surfaces & uneven granite pavers making luggage transfer difficult . Room was not properly readied with the overly warm temperature and 3 tissues left in tissue box & malfunctioning safe & refrigeratorGuest review byVictoriaUnited States
