The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The house itself was perfect—clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool, which was a great spot to relax and cool off. Additionally, the location was ideal for hiking enthusiasts, with several scenic trails nearby. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I highly recommend it!Guest review byOlegRussia

Pirot is a small town so you can make the most of your stay by walking around and sight seeing, we specifically went to Vlasi village which has beautiful mountains and a small river, the perfect escape from your hectic city life into a quite serene nature haven. At most you need 4 or 5 days any more and you would run out of things to do or if your pace is a bit slow take a weekGuest review byPrathamSerbia - 10.0

Eating in Lounge Bar Shumski and Konak Zdrma. Enjoying cofee in Sunce. Walking arround to Ski renting Aphrodite Hill Appartments. Small place. Not so much to do there, but with SKi center Stara Planina good combination for winter visit.Guest review byMarijaNorth Macedonia - 8.0

Kalna is a charming village situated just an hour away from the main attractions of the Balkan Mountains on the Serbian side. This makes it an ideal base camp for exploring the mountains and all they have to offer.Guest review byDaniloSerbia - 10.0

This village is a great starting point to explore the hiking trails of Stara Planina. Drive to "Babin Zub" hotel (~20km away, ~1600m altitude) and then go by foot to "Babin Zub" mountain top nearby or the highest one "Midžor" (2158m altitude), 8km away. This will be certainly an experience you would not forget - you would wish to come back to this mountain again!Guest review byNenadUnited States - 8.0
Pirot and it's surroundings offer so much.
Pirot and it's surroundings offer so much. Waterfalls, lakes, hiking. The town itself can be explored in a couple of days, worth it. However, you might find there is insufficient information and must rely on navigation. Otherwise, food is good and 20% cheaper than in Belgrade. Ice cream 50 rsd per scoop.Guest review byDraganaSerbia - 8.0

Very cheap ski resort, good slopes for beginners and mid-skiers with nice lift and view. We liked the traditional Serbian dishes and the AMAZING gluwein at the bottom of the slopes. You can stay in the villages that lead to Crni Vrh and go there only for the slopes.Guest review byInaBulgaria - 10.0
Very pleasant, friendly and open minded people.
Very pleasant, friendly and open minded people. Gastronomy, as a main reason for arrival in Pirot, was out of this world. All 5 places that we visited served fantastic meals: Dukat, Kraljev cardak, Mali pevac, Ladna voda i Nisavska dolina.Guest review byNenadCroatia - 8.0
Very nice place to stay for Skiing or hiking in Babin Zub.
Very nice place to stay for Skiing or hiking in Babin Zub. It is ~15 mins drive to the resort. It has an amazing cozy atmosphere without huge hotels - only village and guest houses. The nature around the town is amazing. The ski resort Babin Zub offers great service for it's ski pass prices! The only downsides are the black roads to some guest houses, poor 3G coverage, and the meat-based cuisine. If you want to eat something different than meat, dairy or fries, you have to cook it yourself as the few restaurants and pizzeria in the town don't offer much versatility. If you want to have vegetarian or vegan dishes better come prepared with food.Guest review byHristiyanBulgaria
