Wonderful eco lodge set in 4.5 hectares of gardens, fruit, veg and flowering plants. Great little cabins with everything you could want. Communal meals made you feel right at home. Sitting round the fire after dinner chatting with the owner and people from all over the world!

We had an amazing time at Ihema Lodges! This place far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived until check-out we felt truly looked after. The rooms were clean and comfortable with nice details throughout. Enjoying dinner with a beautiful backdrop of the lake was a highlight in itself. The staff was very helpful and flexible and made preparing for our safari in Akagera National Park a breeze. We already miss the tranquility and calm of Ihema and will be sure to return soon. We love the space, its was very comfortable with amazing view. We loved the activities provided such as kayaking. Great location as well. The price is on the higher side but it is justified by the full board services and other free activities. Nice place to networking also esp with the concept of community dinner.
