Very clean and fresh feeling hotel furnished to a high standard. Perfectly located right by the rail station. The roof top pool and jacuzzi were an added bonus. The staff were happy to provide a breakfast bag for me to take away as I was leaving before the breakfast room opened.
Laponia Sky Hut is set in Gällivare. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the luxury tent free of charge. Towels and bed linen are featured in the luxury tent.

The idyllic place. The fact that we saw the Aurora Borealis at its peak lying on our bed. The great service with the breakfast brought with a snowmobile.

Large hut, warm, well located, equipped with all amenities. Large and comfortable bathroom. Access to the lake which was frozen & gave us opportunity for a great view of the Northern Lights. Sleds at guests' free disposal. Friendly host. We loved this place!

Gallivare is a mining town and in itself not particularly...
Gallivare is a mining town and in itself not particularly interesting for holiday takers but it provides good transport options to several of the national parks in the region.
It is possible to make some nice walks in the immediate vicinity of the town but these alone are not a reason to travel there.
