- From £96.87 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 42 reviewsSince this is our second time, we decided to try the smaller studio instead of the 1-BR residence. The size of the studio is perfect - about the size of an average Asian hotel room. It’s simply furnished and comfortable. We loved that it is slightly further away from the hotel side so it’s generally quieter but just a hop from the breakfast and dinner restaurants. The restaurant staff are amazing as usual, especially the ones having to deal with mad hungry crowds at breakfast. The dinner restaurant staff, esp the male team leader who speaks well, was amazing and energetic - helping my husband navigate his allergies and dietary restrictions.Guest review byFarah AzizSingapore
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 209 reviewsA modern, clean hotel with great gym and pool. I got upgraded to a one bedroom and it was excellent , good space, big TVs and a couch and washing machine etc. I hadn't stayed in this area before and had stayed in old town. I much prefer this area for bars and restaurants. The hotel was a great stay and wish I had stayed longer. The staff were all very nice and helpful. One last thing the breakfast buffet was 10/10 and believe me in the last two months of travel it was one of the best with cheeses, proper sausages and the best pastries as they were so fresh.Guest review bystephenNew Zealand

I like the mix of old and new, ancient temples and clean modern facilities. There's lots of great food all around the city, khao soi is a must. Try the pork leg at the night food market across from the north gate. I walked everywhere. It's a little hot, but easily walkable. Definitely see Wat Chedi Luang and attend the Monk chat. Learn about Buddhism and help the monks practice English. Walk around the walled city and visit some of the lesser-known temples.Guest review byJeffreyColombia - 10.0
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lhong Chiang Dao...
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping in Chiang Mai, and I can confidently say it was one of the most incredible hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the host and staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. Every request we made was met with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, which made our stay even more special. The glamping site itself is immaculately maintained, with cleanliness being a top priority. Surrounded by the soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall 24/7, it truly felt like we were immersed in nature. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life and reconnect with the serene beauty of the outdoors. One of the most magical moments was at night—around 11 PM onwards, the sky came alive with countless stars, offering an awe-inspiring view you rarely get to experience in the city. If you’re looking for a solid glamping experience with unparalleled hospitality, breathtaking natural surroundings, and starry skies, Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping is the place to go. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet enriching escape. Thank you to the entire team for making this a stay to remember!Guest review byTanSingapore - 8.0

The homestay was perfect for us because we had a vehicle. It would be difficult for those who do not have a vehicle. We had a great time cycling around Mae Rim, including sections of the "Lanna Trail".Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Lovely place for spending a relaxed weekend.
Lovely place for spending a relaxed weekend. Watch the sunrise over teh valley, stare into the clear skies and the stars at night. Visit the tribal villages, the fruit orchards (strawberries and oranges) and the flower gardens. Enjoy a tranquil time.Guest review bySanyamIndia - 10.0

Chom Tong is a small town about 1.5 hour from Chiang Mai. Travellers use it as the base to explore Doi Inthanon. There is a decent choice of F&B establishments, supermarket, cinema, etc. Best explored if you have transport (rental car or taxi service which can be booked by the day)Guest review byW SukiSingapore - 10.0

Mae Chaem is an amazing little village with great air quality, which is a rare thing in Thailand. With lots of greenery and nature trails, you'll never get bored in this place. Food is also cheap and tasty. The people are nice and always smiling. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nature retreat.Guest review byletalljoshMauritius - 10.0

A fascinating city to visit, the temples are a must, especially Wat Chiang Man and Wat Chet Yot. The food is excellent, go visit the Anthony Bourdain eateries and try the Khao Soi ? I recommend paying a visit to the Hill Tribe museum: they’ve got exhibitions and mock-up houses from the 13 registered hill tribes in Thailand.Guest review byjondillonFrance - 10.0
Welcoming little town well worth visiting.
Welcoming little town well worth visiting. The temple and the caves are great but the best thing for me was that I stumbled into a bar up near the cave which is called . . The Cave bar. This place has to be visited if at all possible. Wonderful hostess and a really chilled, funky vibe.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Beautiful spot, but very isolated, making visiting tourist attractions and temples expensive. Please be aware....some taxi drivers do not speak English at all and have to communicate via Google translate.Guest review bygabrieleAustralia - 10.0
The cool & freezing weather.
The cool & freezing weather. Must stay here for atleast one night if you have a trip to Chiang Mai. Experience the beautiful flower farm and walking distance. You will appreciate the morning fresh air & cool cloudy fog if you dont mind walking to the flower farm nearby within 15min walk . For Muslim, even though it is only one restaurant that offer halal food , but the taste was worth the price. Will repeat next time if i travel to Chiang Mai.Guest review byRosnitaMalaysia
