The hotel was in a great location, with beautiful surroundings, and was very peaceful. Very close to everything. The bungalows were very comfortable and have a nice decking area/hammocks. This is the best hotel I stayed at while doing the Mae Hong Son loop. It’s next to the loop so everything is at walking distance (max 10 minutes). The owner told me the hotel is brand new. The room is just gorgeous and even has a bathtub. It’s so nice and clean. Everything was perfect!

Extremely clean and new. The 4 people room is comfortable and has enough space for the luggage. There is a nice rooftop to chill and also some area in the lobby good to work. It’s quite and calm. It is settled in a really good neighborhood, with plenty cool cafes and a nice square (where happens the Saturday Market). The owners are super friendly and are always around making sure you have the best stay. The pictures are accurate and I definitely recommend this place!

I don't know with what to start... this might just be one of my favourite hotels in the world! The ambience in the whole resort is amazing. From the moment you enter the propriety, you feel welcome. The staff were friendly, professional, helpful, and smiling at you. The path to reach your room feels magical. The room was cosy and peaceful (except Saturday night as there was an event in the hotel beside, but this was out of their control). The inside is very comfortable, and you also have a cute spot on your balcony. Many amenities are available in the room. The breakfast was tasty, they even had their own made bread. They also have some area to relax, which I could have spent the full day. I will definitely come back!

If you are in doubt where to stay, then this is the best place to stay in Pai! We are so glad we stayed at this hotel. The staff is perfect and did everything to make us feel good from the smallest to the biggest. They really like children and really became their friends during our stay. It was fun to get fresh fruit, get a shuttle to the city and back, eat at the hotel's restaurant. Thank you Oia Hotel you made our stay in Pai perfect. Highly recommend! Greetings from us parents and also from Itay and Shira

The resort grounds are beautifully kept. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and gorgeous, really beautifully done and interesting to look at with lovely tiles and interesting curved styling all round. Bathtub filled quickly with piping hot water. Pool is nice and wasn't busy during our stay. Nice big comfy bed and plenty of towels, gowns etc. It's very quiet. We didn't see many other guests.

Liked just about everything. The decor, the landscaping, pool, restaurant...all just dreamy. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to the walking street if you want it. Very cool and quiet property. Was a pleasure to call it home for 4 nights and hope to have the opportunity to return in the future. I would highly recommend this property.

Much needed spot to relax on the MHS loop, good value for money and I think the photos on here don't do it justice really. It was way nicer than I was expecting and you get what you pay for. Also there's a really nice rooftop to watch the sunset, and some good restaurants nearby. Staff were very friendly and kind and there were free bananas

It was worth the three hour trip from Pai on the most winding roads through the hills. Top tip - take a travel sickness pill. A small town that's geared up for a massive influx of visitors who on average only stay one night. Plenty of good restaurants and the 40 minute nightime trip around the lake is the highlight. Lots of good photo/video opportunities.

Pai is a sleepy little hippie village surrounded by mountains. There are no AirBnB tours and no Trip Advisor tours. The streets are lined with tea shops, restaurants, bars, coffee joints and lots of weed shops. Riding scooters here is super dangerous. I’d say about 5-10% of the other travelers had crashed their scooters and were bandaged up. Everything is walkable. So not worth the risk. Loved Pai. Lots of Britts being rowdy at night but bars close at Midnight, so they all have to go home. During the day, it is so sleepy.

Mae Sarioang is the one crossroad of the R108 and R105 between Mae Hong Song in the North, Mae Sot in the South and Hot/Chiang Mai to the East. Mae Sariang is for many an overnight stop from one of those places to one of those places, what does not gives Mae Sariang the attention it deserves. It is a great hub, for a good number of day trips into the mountain, to and along the Salaweng river and to a great number of viewpoints on relatively good paved roads and some dirt roads. It has conserved the old days charm of a slower Northern Thailand / Lana small town with enough bars, restaurants and coffee shops to fill a week. A good place to stay a bit longer and explore the hill tops, river villages and coffee plantations, before you are heading off to the next point.

Ten years ago this might have been heaven on earth. Today, it's overrun with party-hungry, mostly British tourists, who are loud, numerous and disrespectful. Such a shame, really, as the town is charming and the nature is lush, but it's just too much of that drinking-puking-yelling vibe to be enjoyable.
