The hosts were the friendliest I have met. Dhouha made delicious couscous with chicken and carrots and Aziz was there whenever we needed his help. If you are a history fan and like monuments or beaches, this will be your favorite destination. BUT There are some unmentioned rules: 1. Bargaining (the prices are higher than they should be, so do not forget to bargain) 2. NEVER buy anything from the stalls outside of monuments. They usually sell tooooo expensive, even if you bargain to a quarter of the price, it is still expensive. I had a very bad experience, unfortunately. 3. Be careful with your pockets and be aware of using your phone in the streets. 4. The prices in the cartage land are very good for buying handicrafts. 5. You can use ''Louage'' to transport to other cities. Not modern but very affordable.Guest review byReyhaneh - 8.0

Gammarth is a small village that may not offer a wide range of activities or sights, but it's a charming spot nonetheless. For those seeking more options, nearby La Marsa has almost everything you could need, including a small mall just a short taxi ride away—less than 15 minutes. The round trip cost, including tips, was under £10, making it an easy and affordable excursion.Guest review byHayetUnited Kingdom - 10.0
This is an exquisitely decorated, beautful place to stay.
This is an exquisitely decorated, beautful place to stay. The room was very comfortable and the staff exceptionally helpful. It is in a quiet area away from the old city which is always incredibly busy and noisy. The pool was beautuful as was the garden. There are nice places to eat nearby and historic places to visit.Guest review byThomson - 10.0

Sidi Bou Said is a traditional village, plenty of market stalls and restaurants to suit all budgets, sea views at various locations throughout the village are excellent. Some steep and uneven surfaces to deal with but well worth it.Guest review byNigelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I was met at the airport quite late at night with the plane being more than 2 hours late. The host couldn’t do enough for me, big breakfast, all my laundry and ras me back to the airport. I would certainly recommend him.Guest review byGraemeNew Zealand - 10.0
Nice area.
Nice area. A lot of the shops and stuff are relatively spread out. Really nice people who genuinely help you. Taxis are a bit of a pain from the airport, as they were a little expensive to what I would have thought. However you have to bargain with them a bit.Guest review byShahidUnited Kingdom - 6.0

The location of Dar Salah Bey is very good and has access to everything nearby, the house is cosy, loved the architecture and design, but the owner of the property is required to improve the facilities and kitchen equipment, like good knives for cooking, a new set of forks, spoons, and cooking tools, also provide a good iron and iron board, fix the leakage of a tap connected to the washing machine, provide new and fresh bed covers and sheets, and also provide clothes drying rack, as we struggled to dry our clothes.Guest review byOUMAIMA.LTFIraq - 8.0

Tunis is a pleasant city to visit, among others due to its friendly inhabitants. The Bardo Museum is a must-see whereas places such as Cathago and the other coastal areas of the city are worth visiting. The Medina was a bit run down, yet it was enchanting and it felt safe. If I had to mention one disadvantage when it comes to Tunis, that would be the limited variety in cafes and bars, which turns dining into the main activity for the evening.Guest review byGiorgosGreece - 8.0
Four Seasons is a lovely place to relax with the family.
Four Seasons is a lovely place to relax with the family. I suggest a 5 day visit so one can then plan day trips to Hammamet and Djerba as well. one could also spend 3 days at four seasons hotel and then 2 nights in Hammamet if you really want to enjoy a beach.Guest review byMr HaqUnited Kingdom - 8.0
La marsa beach was right outside our guest house.
La marsa beach was right outside our guest house. We could walk to the main part of the beach and the shops and restaurants. We were out of season, visiting during Ramadan so it was relatively quiet. Some restaurants were not open at all, some only during the day, others only at night. We managed to find somewhere to eat every day. I can recommend the Cliff restaurant, Pasta mi Basta (very accommodating with our friend who had various intolerances), Kenko food bar and Blu Blu (Sidi Bou). There was a supermarket which catered for our needs. We also visited the capital Tunis and Sidi Bou Said which had lovely shops and stunning views.Guest review byTracey NUnited Kingdom
