- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 337 reviewsI absolutely loved Dar Ennassim and can't wait to return there and stay longer next time. It's a gorgeous renovated old house in the heart of the Marsa area, just 25 minutes by car from downtown Tunis, and a 15-minute walk from Marsa beach - a long stretch of beautiful sandy beach with clear water. The guesthouse has 11 rooms, and each room has a very unique character and is very tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable, with excellent mattresses, and blackout curtains block every possible source of light to help you have an excellent night's sleep. Breakfast is rich and elegant; served on a rooftop terrace with a beautiful view, and offering a very rich menu of homemade marmalades, eggs made to order, fresh crepes, fruit salad, yoghurt, muesli, cheeses, fresh juice, and other delicacies. There are three different rooftop terraces, one of them next to a small but nice pool, and it was a perfect space for me to take my laptop and work in the evening. In the morning, I absolutely loved going for a sunrise jog or sunrise swim in the sea. The guesthouse is perfectly located close to so many supermarkets, pharmacies, artisan boutiques, restaurants, cafes, gelato shops (I strongly recommend Maison Geliamo, a very short walk from Dar Ennassim). The host, Taieb, is very kind, welcoming, and helpful. He greets you with a fascinating history of the house that his father bought 25 years ago, and that they both worked together on renovating. He shares his passion for gardening which you can see in the beautiful plants all around the terraces. His mother's paintings fill the walls of the house. I strongly recommend accepting his suggestion of visiting his grandfather's house-turned-museum in Sidi Bou Said, Dar Al-Annabi, a fascinating window into Tunisian history in the late Ottoman period and the colonial period until independence.Guest review byLinaJordan

Gammarth is a small village that may not offer a wide range of activities or sights, but it's a charming spot nonetheless. For those seeking more options, nearby La Marsa has almost everything you could need, including a small mall just a short taxi ride away—less than 15 minutes. The round trip cost, including tips, was under £10, making it an easy and affordable excursion.Guest review byHayetUnited Kingdom - 10.0
This is an exquisitely decorated, beautful place to stay.
This is an exquisitely decorated, beautful place to stay. The room was very comfortable and the staff exceptionally helpful. It is in a quiet area away from the old city which is always incredibly busy and noisy. The pool was beautuful as was the garden. There are nice places to eat nearby and historic places to visit.Guest review byThomson - 10.0
Nice area.
Nice area. A lot of the shops and stuff are relatively spread out. Really nice people who genuinely help you. Taxis are a bit of a pain from the airport, as they were a little expensive to what I would have thought. However you have to bargain with them a bit.Guest review byShahidUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Four Seasons is a lovely place to relax with the family.
Four Seasons is a lovely place to relax with the family. I suggest a 5 day visit so one can then plan day trips to Hammamet and Djerba as well. one could also spend 3 days at four seasons hotel and then 2 nights in Hammamet if you really want to enjoy a beach.Guest review byMr HaqUnited Kingdom - 8.0
La marsa beach was right outside our guest house.
La marsa beach was right outside our guest house. We could walk to the main part of the beach and the shops and restaurants. We were out of season, visiting during Ramadan so it was relatively quiet. Some restaurants were not open at all, some only during the day, others only at night. We managed to find somewhere to eat every day. I can recommend the Cliff restaurant, Pasta mi Basta (very accommodating with our friend who had various intolerances), Kenko food bar and Blu Blu (Sidi Bou). There was a supermarket which catered for our needs. We also visited the capital Tunis and Sidi Bou Said which had lovely shops and stunning views.Guest review byTracey NUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I highly advise not bring anything valuable to Le Palace, Unfortunately I have been subject to theft. The hotel Maintenance deliberately turns off the air compressor regularly and leaves their residents soaking in their sweat. Breakfast is more like refugee food in the 19th century. Unless you have been stranded on a deserted island, living on grass, worms and sea weed , no normal human being could eat their food.Guest review bySamehEgypt - 8.0
Very clean and beautiful house.
Very clean and beautiful house. Esma and son were accommodating hosts. We were expecting a hotel rather than a B&B. Bed had partial walls on both sides with shelves so easy to bump head or body. Breakfast was the same both days—Tasty and fresh but nothing memorable. Several restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Bakery as well. Value for money seems a little expensive.Guest review byBretUnited States
