Nice, cosy apartment. Good for a short period of stay. Unfortunately, some things weren't as in the offer. No hairdryer, no Netflix, no coffee machine, no private parking, poor cutlery set, only one set of towels for two people, soap after previous customers, fact we couldn't pay by card although it was a recommended form of payment.

Well set in the La Medina district of Tunis, Dar el médina is located 17 km from Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum, 400 metres from Dar Lasram Museum and 500 metres from Kasbah Square.

We loved our stay so much, we extended it. The breakfast was phenomenal, the rooms beautiful and the staff fantastic. A special shoutout to Nede at reception, she was so kind and helpful. All the staff really made our stay exceptional. Do note, that since the stay is located within the Medina, you cannot drive right up to it or have a taxi take you to the entrance. It's not a long walk from the entrance though.

Best place to stay in Tunis is the Medina and Dar El Jeld is the best place to stay in the Medina. Love the four fine chocolates in the room. Better than mint on a pillow.

We had the privilege to stay in this beautiful historic hotel. The service at the reception was great also the security we had for our 1957 classic car was amazing. Our bedroom was overlooking the square. it was an spacious and well decorated comfortable room. The breakfast was great a variety of food. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Tunis. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a big plus in the summer heat. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh and tasty options. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful — especially Awatef Hamdi, who went above and beyond to make my stay even better. The location was also convenient for exploring the city. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily return.

Very efficient staff. Mariam at reception is very helpful as well staff at restaurant. Very good food in restaurant. 20 mins stroll to Medina. New hotel so everything clean and comfortable.
