This place is a hidden gem in Dodoma. When I first booked it, I didn't expect the place to be this beautiful. Upon my check-in, all the staff and the manager, Mr Audax, were all so welcoming, and the hospitality was another level. Honestly, the calmness I felt here, I wanted to extend my stay. I will definitely book again. Thank you, Teranga team, you gave me a relaxing stay in my hectic life.

*A Peaceful Paradise with Purpose* Palmera Zanzibar is a serene oasis just outside a charming village. I loved the peaceful garden, the spotless infinity pool, and the magical ocean views—especially at sunset. The food was creative, delicious, and all homemade (including fresh breads and cakes!). My room was beautifully decorated, with a comfy bed, sea view, and solar-powered AC—much appreciated in the heat! What makes Palmera truly special is its mission: it’s part of the More Than A Drop Hospitality College, training underprivileged girls for careers in hospitality. The staff and students were incredibly kind, attentive, and made me feel safe and welcome. Highly recommended—for both the experience and the amazing cause behind it.

The property was cozy and clean, and everything as described. The owner was very nice and engaged, and provided us with recommendations both for our stay in Nungwi and onwards on Zanzibar. The property is very close to the beach and great dining options.

Calm and beautiful stay in a paradise spot of the island

I recently stayed at this lovely little hotel, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by Il-Ham, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. She welcomed us with a smile, gave us a tour of the room, and made sure we felt right at home. The hotel itself is a peaceful and charming retreat, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was impeccably clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail in the room was exceptional – the romantic touch of a heart-shaped decoration and beautifully crafted towel swans on the bed made the experience truly special. The bathroom was equally well-prepared, with thoughtful amenities including toothbrushes and toothpaste, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The meals were another highlight of our visit. Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious and generously portioned. Every dish was prepared with love, and we left the table each time feeling more than satisfied. If you’re looking for a quiet, intimate, and delightful place to stay, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. The personalized service, the beautiful ambiance, and the thoughtful details made our stay unforgettable. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Everything exellent, service always with smile from staff, beds are so confortable, very fast wifi, spotless clean, garden full of beatiful plants and trees, aircon working perfect, i can recommend to everybody come and stay have wonderfull experience. Also breakfast and dinner was really teasty. Another plus they arrange all kind of tour and transports really good prices for island, you dont have to go shop around, thank you guys make my stay wonderfull with beatiful memories. Bu the way they also have tanzanian music and dance show i come a cross in hotel was amazing too

Beautiful location, with beautiful sitting areas with a view of the ocean. Loved their bungalows, simple clean, beautiful and functional design. Restaurant area also placed perfect, with a spectacular view. The owners and staff are great!!!

We've never been to a more perfect place before. It's a cozy little spot, well-planned, sitting right on the beach, and there's this seamless connection between the villas and the beach that feels just right. You can tell that the owners really considered every little thing here. The food is so carefully prepared and absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly, on-point, and super quick to help out. Honestly, it's just the ideal place to be.

An amazing spot for stay with your family. Quiet place with incredible shore and beautiful view. Friendly surroundings and helpful personnel of the hotel. We felt like we are at home without being physically at home. All staff of the hotel: drivers, housekeepers, receptionists, waiters and bartenders, security guards even, they all made us feel as part of their family. Everyone had been very friendly and welcomed us on their beautiful land. Hotel management is driven by enthusiasm and strong beliefs in Zanzibar as a developing tourist destination. Real adepts of Hospitality! They are organizing entertainments during evenings at the territory of the hotel, involving local tribes sharing their culture and traditions, also the live music bands, which you can enjoy while sipping from your glass of wine and smoking hookah under the palms. Thanks for your help in arranging the unforgettable journey to the Mainland for our Safari trip, appreciate all your advices for our continued trip exploring the island’s beauty.
