NorwayWe loved our stay at Lala lodge. Beautiful, quiet spot - exactly what we wanted. Great food and lots of it. Super easy to arrange day trips and make plans. Dennis, the owner, made us feel right at home. Actually one of our favorite parts about staying here was dinner and conversations with Dennis and another guest there at the same time - it felt like we were staying with friends:)

The place is comfortable, beautifully situated, clean. The staff, especially Jennifer and Kasib, made us feel we were looked after at all time. The staff was always friendly and doing everything to make us feel welcome and at ease. Definitely recommendable, especially if you like quite places (because there is not much around).

The place is natural, quiet and unpretentious.
The place is natural, quiet and unpretentious. It does not invade the environment, and does not give the feel of wanting to make money out of you. It is very small - a capacity of 12 beds only - and so the sense of peace and harmony with the environment is deep. A rare find which I will return to. You need to be prepared to walk a little way to the lodge if the tides are low, and you need to be a nature lover. We had 2 brilliant snorkelling trips - other ventures are offered. The food was delicious - beautifully prepared, yet simple. Most of it is drawn from the island itself and is fantastically healthy stuff. I was a single traveler, and recommend this for singles.
