The room was very spacious. Beds were most comfortable, with crisp, clean bedding. Bathroom was spotless with ample bath, hand & face towels available. Usual hotel amenities available. Breakfast offered a great variety from cooked (eggs, sausage, waffles) to cereals, yogurts & fresh fruit. Plenty of coffee available in the morning and chilled lemon-infused water available all day long. The freshly baked cookies in the lobby were a lovely touch. The location was perfect for our needs, in close walking proximity to grocery stores and other retail outlets, short drive to historic Downtown Summerville and easy connection to the '26 to Charleston. Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating!

We had the luxury one bedroom suite with a full kitchen and a separate bedroom, big bathroom and even a washing machine and tumble dryer. The suite was furnished extremely nice and is very big. It even had a heated toilette😀. It was also within walking distance to the shopping area in Charleston. We had booked on an extremely short notice as our originally booked B&B was terrible.

Amazing hotel located a block away from the market. The most comfortable beds and liners. The atmosphere is great! Beautiful patio to enjoy a breakfast or a drink. I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling as a couple or with kids. Each floor has complementary coffee machines and fresh fruits. Rooms are very quiet and extremely clean and the decor is super!

All the staff was superlative. We especially appreciated the gracious and friendly table service of the breakfast staff. The location was perfect for walking the historic district (2 blocks to City Market, 1 bock to Gibbs Museum). Parking was available directly behind hotel just 10 feet from the back entrance - and access to the building from front and back required no stairs (!) - unusual in Charleston and a real plus for our group traveling with elderly. Charming open air courtyard and outdoor tables. The wine and cheese hour and sherry all evening were bonuses!

The staff was exceptional with genuine kindness, care, consideration, knowledge of area, and great sense of humor. Very helpful but not in an over bearing way. Parking great and included. Heated pool and pool area very spacious and looked right out to the ocean. Bar and meal choices even room service very comparable and convenient.

I loved staying at this resort. The rooms were beautiful, and the view from the hotel was spectacular. We enjoyed s'mores by the firepits as well as live music in the evening. It was great to see the kids enjoying the Easter egg hunt. Breakfast and dinner at the Fish House were great. We also enjoyed the water taxi to visit Charleston.

We really loved the hotel. The complimentary wine&cheese and milk & cookies tastings were really nice along with icecubes and chocolate to the room in the evening. It had a nice backyard with lovely flowers were you could enjoy a glass of wine. The hotel is located in the old part of Charleston and right next to the market.

We have family there so we visit every 3 months. Lots of traffic but it flows quickly enough. Gives you time to check out shops as you are sitting in traffic. We love the "old town" section. The shops are awesome. And if you happen to go between April & September the Farmers Market is wonderful!

We didn’t have hot water for 2days, out elevator was broken for 2 days, they gave me a room on the third floor and I have 2 infants with me, couldn’t find anyone to help us out with strollers and luggage. And on top of that they would not change us to the first floor. Definitely a place to NEVER come back EVER again.

The island is beautiful and designed for relaxation. We did not golf but it is big there. There are many rules on the island which my friend did not like and she thought the people were uppity. We only had bikes and you really do need a car to get groceries and in case of rain. You will get stuck there without transportation. Also since we did not have a car, I did not print the pass that was sent to us by our Airbnb host. We took a Lyft to Kiawah and had to pay a $20 entrance fee to the island. Had we taken an Uber or printed out the car pass, we could have avoided this fee. We were not told about that. Overall, I would go again and be better prepared the next time.

The stay was fine, of course new pillows and sheets should be placed on the beds. The pillows were very old as if you were at home and needed to buy new ones. Seabrook Island itself is a gem. The beaches were beautifully uncrowded, and we were constantly surrounded by incredible wildlife—deer, cranes, barn owls, dolphins, and even jumping fish! It felt like we were immersed in nature the entire time. We also loved exploring the nearby Freshfields Village, which had great food options and a charming atmosphere.
