- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 135 reviewsAll the staff was superlative. We especially appreciated the gracious and friendly table service of the breakfast staff. The location was perfect for walking the historic district (2 blocks to City Market, 1 bock to Gibbs Museum). Parking was available directly behind hotel just 10 feet from the back entrance - and access to the building from front and back required no stairs (!) - unusual in Charleston and a real plus for our group traveling with elderly. Charming open air courtyard and outdoor tables. The wine and cheese hour and sherry all evening were bonuses!Guest review byKATHLEENUnited States

Gorgeous buildings, beautiful and spacious room, incredible staff, lovely attention to every detail. I’ve stayed at several high-end hotels in Charleston and Zero George is hands down the best! The rooms were beautiful, and the view from the hotel was spectacular. We enjoyed s'mores by the firepits as well as live music in the evening. It was great to see the kids enjoying the Easter egg hunt. Breakfast and dinner at the Fish House were great. We also enjoyed the water taxi to visit Charleston.Guest review byChantalUnited Kingdom

We have family there so we visit every 3 months. Lots of traffic but it flows quickly enough. Gives you time to check out shops as you are sitting in traffic. We love the "old town" section. The shops are awesome. And if you happen to go between April & September the Farmers Market is wonderful!Guest review byJimUnited States - 10.0

We live in SC and have spend a lot of time at all the beaches. For years Hilton Head was our preferred SC beach. Recently it has changed and not for the best. Isle of Palms seems to have kept its historic charm.Guest review byMarkUnited States - 4.0

We didn’t have hot water for 2days, out elevator was broken for 2 days, they gave me a room on the third floor and I have 2 infants with me, couldn’t find anyone to help us out with strollers and luggage. And on top of that they would not change us to the first floor. Definitely a place to NEVER come back EVER again.Guest review byCassioUnited States - 10.0
The island is beautiful and designed for relaxation.
The island is beautiful and designed for relaxation. We did not golf but it is big there. There are many rules on the island which my friend did not like and she thought the people were uppity. We only had bikes and you really do need a car to get groceries and in case of rain. You will get stuck there without transportation. Also since we did not have a car, I did not print the pass that was sent to us by our Airbnb host. We took a Lyft to Kiawah and had to pay a $20 entrance fee to the island. Had we taken an Uber or printed out the car pass, we could have avoided this fee. We were not told about that. Overall, I would go again and be better prepared the next time.Guest review byDebbieUnited States - 6.0

The stay was fine, of course new pillows and sheets should be placed on the beds. The pillows were very old as if you were at home and needed to buy new ones. The sheets were very beaded and need to be thrown away. The staff is not friendly nor hospitable at all. They definitely need to work on their customer service skills.Guest review byLaQuitaUnited States - 8.0
Seabrook Island itself is a gem.
Seabrook Island itself is a gem. The beaches were beautifully uncrowded, and we were constantly surrounded by incredible wildlife—deer, cranes, barn owls, dolphins, and even jumping fish! It felt like we were immersed in nature the entire time. We also loved exploring the nearby Freshfields Village, which had great food options and a charming atmosphere.Guest review byJfabulous29United States - 8.0
Nice historical city.
Nice historical city. Rich history of rice crops making it wealthiest city in the south. I loved the Barbados inspired architecture of homes with side porches. Enjoyed learning of the Gullah Geechee culture and the seagrass baskets. Quaint town and great food as well as beautiful scenery. I immensely enjoyed the whole experience!Guest review byMeshaUnited States - 10.0
