- From £110.08 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 165 reviewsCommunication is a key and it was very good. The property management sent me a message a day before check-in, that there was a mistake in system and the room I booked is not available - as there was a wedding party that weekend. They offered me a change to different property, 15 minutes from the one I booked. Absolutely fine for me, as we were looking only for one night in a room with shower on our trip through several national parks - arriving late, departing early. The property we got was on ranch, just our house ... we were there really alone, in the middle of nice nature, middle of ranch. Excellent experience, much better than we expected. From "just a room anywhere in that area to sleep one night" we got a "fantastic place to stay in a solitude house in nice nature". Clean room with fridge, coffee maker and microwave, nice bed, we slept very well. Although it is located far away from village and other houses, internet was working well, fast. I can only recommend this property and management, if we will in future repeat road-trip in that area, I will book this place.Guest review byMilan PartikaSlovakia
- From £131.75 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 81 reviewsThe lodge was extremely clean and everyone was so friendly. This lodge is located on one of those places that you have to go to it’s not a stop off the highway, but it’s well worth the trip the drive for a peaceful retreat. The trip through Glen Canyon National Park is beautiful and so is Lake Powell which is minutes from the lodge.Guest review byChristineUnited States

We spent one full day at Bryce.
We spent one full day at Bryce. We saw the most spectacular night sky with milky way visible to naked eyes. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. We did the Navajo and queens garden loop which was around 3 miles and covered most of the canyon. Views from Inspiration point and Bryce point are the best. Sunrise at Bryce point was amazing.Guest review bySangramUnited States - 10.0
Panguitch is a special place full of wonderful people.
Panguitch is a special place full of wonderful people. We were traveling through here when my husband was hospitalized for 5 days. Everyone, hospital staff, hotel owner, laundry mat, pharmacy, etc...were very helpful and kind. Cannot say enough good about it. My husband joked if he were younger, we would move there!Guest review byMulkin - 8.0
Quiet, friendly, family oriented town.
Quiet, friendly, family oriented town. I felt safe walking around the entire town any time of day or night. Prices were a little steep in all the stores and eateries as you would expect from a town so close to tourist attractions.Guest review bySaperstein - 6.0

There is not much in Hatch - we drove about 10-15 miles to Panguitch to Joe's Market for groceries. We did not have any meals in Hatch at whatever restaurants were there. Panguitch had several restaurants where we ate and enjoyed.Guest review byRebeccaUnited States - 10.0

Cannonville is in the Grand Staircase/Escalante National Monument, so there is beautiful scenery surrounding it and the nearby towns, including Bryce Canyon National Park, Kodachrome Basin State Park, and Grosvenor Arch. What's nice about Cannonville is that it's in a quiet little valley, so is less exposed to the coldest weather and the winds that buffet the higher, more exposed towns in the area. It's on Scenic Route 12, so any direction you travel has gorgeous scenery! A day trip up to Capitol Reef is a little over two hours' drive away, and there are breath-taking landscapes and views all along the way. Loved it!Guest review bykarenUnited States - 10.0

A lot to do. Tried to book a tour but no availability. So if you are planning to do one, book early. There was only 1 restaurant that open while we were there. We love the Petrified Forest, Escalante River hike, Lower Calf Falls, as well as the Long Slot Canyon. Some of the attractions need a 4x4. Wish we knew ahead of time. Overall, very enjoyable! Cute little town with lots to do.Guest review byDianaUnited States - 10.0

If you like to explore the desert, there are plenty of places to go off the beaten path. If you're not comfortable with that, there's a lot of beauty close to the road too. Hell's Backbone Grill was worth the splurge - delicious food and they even made us a special request cocktail that tasted better than the typical one you would get somewhere else.Guest review byJenniferUnited States - 10.0

So many great views and very moderate difficulty hikes along the rim. We did not go down into the amphitheater, perhaps on our next visit. We had a day and a half, which was just right for the rim hikes and tons of photos of the beautiful views. Really spectacular views.Guest review byDoranUnited States - 10.0
The restaurant's are excellent.
The restaurant's are excellent. The locals are all friendly and very accommodating. Just a quick trip to any of the local National Parks or Panguitch lake. Fun shops antique and thrift shops on main street.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Tropic is a great home base from which to explore Bryce Canyon, as it's so close by but quiet. The Pizza Place, in town, is really solid pizza and beer and good service. Aside from that, though, it's slim pickings food-wise: I recommend bringing your own and staying someplace where you can self cater as much as possible.Guest review byAdrienneUnited States
