- From US$119.20 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 78 reviewsOn our road trip through CO, UT and WY, this was by far our best hotel. The room was huge, with 2 bathrooms, a kitchenette, a washing machine and a dryer. After 2 weeks of road tripping, the washing machine came in very handy. The staff was very accommodating, pointing us at a great place to eat, and arranging a reservation for us at Strawberry Hot Springs. Kids loved the pop-corn in the lobby. The pool was open early and late, making it possible for our kids to jump in the pool before setting off for our next leg of our journey (into Rocky Mountains National Park) It was also the cheapest room of our entire trip.Guest review byFadiBelgium

Impossible to park but there is a free bus around town.
Impossible to park but there is a free bus around town. Very crowded and 3 1/2 hours from Denver so not easy to get to. Free app for the bus schedule but you need ask someone in the transportation center. Other ski areas are closer and easier to get to and more appealing.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
This was an early season ski trip for me.
This was an early season ski trip for me. Knowing that no one can control the snow, I was pleasantly surprised that a significant portion of the mountain was open. I really enjoyed the absence of lift lines and restaurant lines but I know this is an artifact of the early season skiing. The town is fun and people are very friendly which is nice when I travel alone. I will come again. I didn't have a car and utilized the bus or walked wherever I wanted to go. The bus is dependable and convenient once I knew where I wanted to go....you can't blame the bus if you don't know where you want to go. I took a shuttle to the regional airport in Hayden. That was pleasant to avoid the drive Denver and very dependable. (It is highly recommended that you book your shuttle trip in advance since you won't likely find a taxi there.)Guest review byJanetUnited States - 10.0

Very nice town for middle aged folks that like to ride bikes and dirt bikes. I can only imagine how nice it must be during ski season, unfortunately we were there in August. Lots of places to eat and shop, but very pricey.Guest review byNewell
