This wasn't our first trip to Nanaimo so we did know our way around most of the city and beyond, but it is always a great place to be. We love the well planned Harbour walkways, many events in the parks, the beach trails. Our favourite beach walks are Piper's Lagoon and Neck Point. There are many good music venues, restaurants, scenic drives and walks. We easily found side roads that were basically parallel to the highway to get to and from downtown. Nanaimo has has a LOT to offer any visitor of any age! Can't wait to return!Guest review byTerry & PatCanada - 10.0
Tofino is an amazing corner of the world.
Tofino is an amazing corner of the world. Stunning scenery, nature, freshness. Great restaurants. Great local shops. Nice place to walk and hike and go to countless sandy beaches - The best on the west coast. 5 starsGuest review byBruce - 4.0

Port Angeles is a good mid-point between Port Townsend and Neah Bay Indian Reservation. Waterfront area is the main attraction in P.A. with several restaurants to choose from. Waterfront has some good restaurants and main ferry to Canada. Be careful of the 2-way, one-way streets that are not marked so on side roads.Guest review byPrangerUnited States - 10.0

Ucluelet is a beautiful town on the Pacific Ocean on Vancouver Island. There are beaches close by (the water is pretty cold, though) and many places to hike. We found that Ucluelet is much less touristy than Tofino. So if you like the touristy stuff, Tofino may be a better place for you. The whole area is surrounded by natural beauty.Guest review byJudge - 10.0

We were there for the last 3 days of the beach festival.
We were there for the last 3 days of the beach festival. The sand sculptures, illuminated at night, were amazing (in the true meaning of the word) in their artistry and creativity. The beaches, parks and old growth trees were a delight to see. There are several excellent and unique restaurants. This town is perfect for a romantic couple's break or for a family with children. A suggestion for the City Council: Provide a small, free, illustrated map of the city with various attractions and the unique places to eat, visit and play.0 Tony Keble.Guest review byAnthonyCanada - 10.0
I have always enjoyed Sequim. There's so much to do and see.
I have always enjoyed Sequim. There's so much to do and see. Hurricane Ridge is a must to go see. The wild flowers are in mass during July. The Wildlife Refuge is another must see part of Sequim and of course in July the Lavender Festival is awesome.Guest review byConnieUnited States
