- From £127.69 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 186 reviewsA Beautiful Retreat with Exceptional Hospitality I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property, and I must say, it has quickly become like a second home for me, all the way from Romania. The location is stunning, nestled in a beautiful lakes area that feels serene and peaceful—a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The management is incredibly professional and kind. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The servers are just as amazing—always friendly, attentive, and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere throughout my stay. Every time I return, it’s with a big smile, knowing I’ll not only enjoy the property but also reconnect with the wonderful people who make it so special. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with top-notch hospitality. I can’t wait to come back again!Guest review byDragosRomania
- From £167.84 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 174 reviewsWe had a wonderful time at the Grand View Resort in Weirs Beach! The rooms felt like they were newly renovated — very clean, modern, and comfortable. The views over Lake Winnipesaukee were simply stunning, especially at sunset. What really made our stay special were the hosts (Clover & Kirk) — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!Guest review byMatthiasGermany

We love coming to this area and have been coming since I was a child. There is a lot to do and see in this area. We’ve been going to the Bank of NH pavilion the last few years and it’s a great place. From our hotel in Laconia it took less than 15 minutes to get to. Getting around Laconia is easy. Great views.Guest review bySandraUnited States - 10.0

Weirs Beach is a nostalgic location that sadly is becoming overdeveloped. Each time I visit, more of the small inns and motels are being replaced with condos. The beach, boardwalk, arcade, scenic train, and Mt. Washington scenic cruise are still there and add to the stunning natural beauty of the surroundings. Hopefully the development will slow, and these things will be preserved so that the area remains an attraction for years to come.Guest review byJulieUnited States - 8.0

It has lots to offer in services, places to eat, and activities. Maybe a few more restaurants would have been nice. Lots of easy access to shopping, groceries, hardware stores etc. Quiet and less touristy then some areas. Any beach we went to had plenty of parking and was not over crowed. Would have liked a few more bike trails. We went to Barlett Beach which is pet friendly, we also spent an afternoon at the beach at Ahern State Park (very peaceful), and we went to Weirs Beach which was not crowded and had shaded areas with picnic tables as well as a good sized sandy beach.Guest review byJoan - 8.0

It is a beautiful location on the lake and outlet shopping is close by as well. The restaurants all had excellent food and shopping at the Marketplace at the Mill was plentiful. There are many hiking trails as well.Guest review byJosephUnited States - 8.0

I loved the location of the inn beautiful scenery close to restaurants supermarkets gas. The staff was helpful . I didn't like coming into the room and not being able to put my stuff down on a table the room has plenty of space but if you weren't out on the balcony there wasn't a place in the room to sit and eat .No full length mirror , and no washer and dryer for the guests.Guest review byEricaUnited States - 4.0
Very disappointed.
Very disappointed. I feel that the pictures online are nothing like the actual house itself. It is in desperate need of updating and general maintenance. The outlets in the bathroom didn't work as well as the fan in the second floor bathroom. The beds were very uncomfortable. The linens that were provided were as old and worn as the house. Although the house was clean, it was hard to get past the overall dark and depressing atmosphere of the home itself. Just totally disappointed.Guest review byGrayUnited States - 10.0
The hotel was very good.
The hotel was very good. It surpassed our expectations since other reviewers rated it so it received a 7.7 score. This is unfair. The rooms are clean, comfortable, bright, and spacious. The bathroom, however, is a bit tight. Common rooms had gracious space and the location of the hotel in the center of time is excellent. Plus we had a beautiful view from our room. We do not understand the mediocre rating given this hotel.Guest review byBillUnited States - 10.0

Town is great - has a lot to offer as long as your not trying to do "tourist" things - the town itself doesn't have much to do and if your looking for night life - LOOK ELSEWHERE - "sidewalks" pretty much roll up at sundown - hard to find anything open past 10 pm - but if your looking for layed back peace & quiet - you found it hereGuest review byKathyUnited States
