- From US$252.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 740 reviewsRight on the ocean. You hear nothing but the waves. All rooms have an ocean view. Big room, lots of space. Microwave, coffee maker, fridge. Even on ground floor own balcony. Enough parking spaces. From the hotel you can walk into town. Again, almost most of the way along the ocean.Guest review byHeikeGermany

Visit the Botanical Garden, and also visit the City Park across Hwy 1 on the bluffs overlooking the Ocean. Also the firshermans village below the bridge was funky and full of places to get a bowl of chowder, or some fish. We stayed on budget and didnt splurge, but there were lots of temptations.Guest review bySmith - 10.0

The little town is absolutely what you wish for when traveling! So many nice people helping us find restaurants, and wineries nearby. The flowers are on steroids...so so beautiful, and everywhere! The town is truly a wonderland!Guest review byGregory - 8.0

Had a lovely trip in Little River for Mother's Day weekend. Although the place we stayed didn't pass muster, this part of the coast delivered, as always, with gorgeous views, great dining, and friendly folk! Lots of dog friendly places to stay and done with beaches, trails and parks for exercise- 2 or 4 leg!Guest review byKerriUnited States - 10.0

Caspar is a small village equidistant from Mendocino and Ft. Bragg. It does have a very good restaurant open for lunch and then it's a bar and music venue. And there is electric car charging at the Community Center. It is clean, safe, and cute. There are walks you can take from the village and a beach. We love how quiet it is and we go on adventures and then return to rest and relax.Guest review byJulieUnited States - 10.0

Fort Bragg is a unique place with really kind people, a slower pace to everyday life, no large retail like Costco or Walmart, beautiful (but cold) beaches. There are times when it feels wild with natural beauty, others when it feels like a home away from home. A short 10 minute drive to Mendocino village which is charming and a must do. Sea Pal is a gem for delicious fish and chips in the Noyo harbor. Big River in Mendocino was a great sandy beach for littles without scary waves.Guest review byeliebeth13United States - 10.0

Walking the headlands, broiling waters, waves, spouts, awesome nature. Walked perimeter of town about five miles along the bluffs to highway and back. Town has charming shops, museums, well restored19th century architecture, very good restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlors. Mendocino Hotel bar and restaurant closed for renovations. Mendocino Cafe is excellent! Highway 1 has breath-taking world class views; arriving at charming Mendocino is no disappointment. My wife and I walked bluffs, beaches, and town, a lovely three day stay. More than a get-away, Mendocino is rejuvenating,Guest review bySTEVENUnited States - 10.0
We loved it.
We loved it. We had a third night booked a little further north and my wife wanted to cancel and stay here. We've been going to the Central Coast around Cambria/Moonstone Beach to celebrate our Anniversary in November. It exceeded my expectations. This is our new go to spot. We enjoyed several beaches and trails. I don't think you can go wrong stopping at any of the ocean access points. We had dinner at Luna Trattoria in Mendocino and it was about as close to perfect as we've experienced in a restaurant in years!Guest review byGaryUnited States - 10.0
We bought tickets on Tripster for the Skunk Train.
We bought tickets on Tripster for the Skunk Train. There is a 45 minute stop where you can take a mile hike or play cornhole or other games. The train has a great food and snack stand on board as well. Don't miss the miniature train setup after the trip - pull the bell or horn! This is all we had time to do but we could have stayed a week here. Lots to do and see Lifevacs article on 20 serene things to do and see in Ft Bragg. We ate dinner at Cuchina Verona Ristorante and Mercato - we ate in their outdoor area on a Saturday night listening to live music under the patio lights. It was wonderful.Guest review byLisa Brinton-WilsonUnited States - 8.0
Mendocino offers amazing easy but very scenic hiking.
Mendocino offers amazing easy but very scenic hiking. Restaurants are good. The trip on the way in or out is very scenic independently from the road you choose. Always a good overnight stay option when traveling around the region.Guest review byCarvalho - 10.0

Great little spot with private access and deck /sitting area. Corner unit with view of ocean and garden. Bed was comfy, and space overall was cozy and well appointed. Would definitely stay here again. Good value compared with others in the area. Loved it!Guest review bydavidUnited States
