A great little town with several really good places to eat.
A great little town with several really good places to eat. The only negative is the road up into the Yellowstone park is NOT a fun drive. It is narrow, steep and twisting with poorly banked curves - much of it 15mph. It is temporary after the flood a few years ago but for now, it’s a stressful way to begin and end the dayGuest review bySouthard - 6.0
The check in staff was nice. The bed wasn’t terrible.
The check in staff was nice. The bed wasn’t terrible. BUT there was no breakfast or coffee in the room And the supplied coffee was awful. The shower was broken, most of the water went down the drain rather than up to the shower head. The air really Struggled and was loud- which did help Cover the sound of noisy Neighbors. The price was Right.Guest review byKristinUnited States - 10.0
We love Gardiner due to the proximity of it to Lamar Valley...
We love Gardiner due to the proximity of it to Lamar Valley and wildlife viewing. It's less busy / touristy than West Yellowstone. Getting around is very easy. Wonderland Cafe & Lodge is one of my favorite restaurants of anywhere. So good that we end up having dinner there each night. The grocery store in town is also pretty good with a nice selection of everything you could think of.Guest review byJacquelineUnited States - 8.0
We were in town for a wedding.
We were in town for a wedding. There are good but limited restaurant options in Paradise Valley, and a few more in Livingston. Area is great for hiking, rafting on the Yellowstone River and about thirty minutes from the North entrance to Yellowstone Park.Guest review byMichaelUnited States - 10.0
Great location for the north entrance into Yellowstone...
Great location for the north entrance into Yellowstone National Park. Getting around is easy with no rush traffic. There are plenty of business for alternative activities, such as horseback riding, ziplining, and white water rafting. No fine dining. Limited local food options with a limited menu. The Ridge Mine restaurant is one of the best.Guest review bySavageUnited States - 10.0
Dining at the Montana Rib and Steak House was an absolute...
Dining at the Montana Rib and Steak House was an absolute pleasure. Both food and service were five star. Breakfast at the 49er's Diner was a different experience. The food was great but the service was less than desirable. We mention the service to our waitress and she just responded "cool" and went back to her phone. The location of the apartment was perfect. Walking distance to downtown.Guest review byRoyUnited States
