Public transportation is pretty good and the train's to and from the airport help make the visit easy. I got a HOP FastPass app for $10 (+ $3 service charge?) Between the seniors discount and the limit on how much they'll charge in a day before making it free, I didn't even use the entire amount. The weather and landscape are, for the most part, lovely. I spent most of my time walking around in Old Town/Chinatown, Downtown and the neighborhoods right across the river to the east. The Waterfront park is lovely and there's an art market there on Saturdays with a lot of cool stuff and great people watchingGuest review byRamona TwilightUnited States - 10.0

I love Bend and travel there numerous times throughout the year for business and to visit family. It has grown in popularity and can be a bit overwhelming at times and prices are fairly high but the experience is amazing! Great food options and entertainment for days besides all of the easily accessible outdoor adventure options available.Guest review byBenjaminUnited States - 10.0
Love Lincoln city.
Love Lincoln city. Outlet malls, arcades and shops are perfect for families. The pizza parlor near the arcade had really good pizza. Arcade has so many pinball machines I love it there! And who doesn’t love pac man and air hockey!Guest review bybrendaUnited States - 10.0
Always tons of fun thing to do.
Always tons of fun thing to do. The beach was clean, as always. The carrousel is a little short ride for the price, but that was another fun thing. Stores, restaurants and more all within walking distance of each other. Great family beach.Guest review bySol&LuisitoUnited States - 10.0
Hope to be back.
Hope to be back. Had a fine stay at the Newport Belle sternwheeler and wonderful visit to the Oregon Coast Aquarium. The Bayfront area was fun, especially the sea lions. Wasn’t able to hit many of the recommended restaurant options so have to return.Guest review byRobertUnited States - 8.0
Came for the Prefontaine Classic.
Came for the Prefontaine Classic. The highlight was reconnecting with Pre's sister, Linda. Saw two world records. Seats were good, but quite expensive. Also got to visit an old friend. Overall, a good two days.Guest review bydavid petersonUnited States - 10.0
Medford was a biggish generic city.
Medford was a biggish generic city. It has every kind of store and convenience you might want but I wasn’t able to pick up any character. But, it’s close to Ashland, home of the Oregon Shakespeare festival, which is an artisan haven and bursts with charm. We found Rooted was a great plant-based restaurant and especially loved the brownie ice cream sundae.Guest review byAnonymous - 2.0
Nothing I did not have what I needed at hotel 6.
Nothing I did not have what I needed at hotel 6. No fridge, microwave, or coffee pot. Bad lobby coffee. I was on 2nd floor coffee was downstairs. No elevator. I have MS hard to walk. Other guests were complaining for the same reason. Thin awful blanket on bed hardly any linens. One bar of soap only.Guest review bySalinas - 6.0

Salem is quite small and unfortunately the state capitol was undergoing building work (it's one of the main sights). Not too many shops and restaurants downtown but the ones I went too were very good. Good place for a couple of days visit.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We loved the Maritime Museum and the fact that you could leave, go do something else, and then come back before they closed. We loved the walkability by the water and really enjoyed the scenery. We met a nice couple, who were volunteers, at the Finnish display by the Maritime Museum. They were very friendly and informative. Our trip was short so we definitely will be back.Guest review byTeresaUnited States
