I should’ve just spent 50 more to go to a better motel if I knew they were gonna rob me of 150, charged my card extra.STAY AWAY! it was dirty and unsafe, the employee Orlando and the young boys at night are rude and shady watch out!!!! Not a family friendly spot! And the roads leading up to the motel is killer on tires FYI. THEY NEED TO PUT MICROWAVES IN THE ROOMS. ALSO WHEN I CHECKED IN ON THE MAY 10,2023 THEY FAILED TO TELL ME THAT YOU CAN ONLY STAY 14 DAYS. BUT I RESERVED THE ROOM AGAIN FOR 3 DAYS AND THAT'S WHEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE LENGTHS OF TIME YOU COULD STAT THERE. BY THAT TIME I HAD BEEN THERE16 DAYS. SO I WAS PAYING FOR THE 3 DAYS RESERVATION WITH MY BANK CARD IT CAME BACK DECLINED,SO I WAS ALLOWED TO PAY FOR ONE MORE DAY WITH CASH AND TOLD I HAD TO CHECK OUT THE NEXT MORNING. HERITAGE HAS MY MONEY PENDING AND I WAS TOLD I HAVE TO WAIT 31 DAYS+1 BEFORE I GET IT BACK. THE MERCHANT SENT PAPERWORK SAYING PAYMENT FAILED AND THEY WEREN'T TAKING IT. It was like a prison, no outlets, no access to office, our phone didn’t work so you couldn’t call the office we are suppose to be in accessible unit but no outlets on any walls couldn’t plug in to charge wheelchair or phones. San Diego is one of the smallest city Ive visited in the US, Recommend: the USS Midway museum; if you're into war history and Naval ships. Have a stroll on the bayfront a lot of maritime traffic to observe. Grab a baseball game: if you're in season, just for the stadium experience, Visit Balboa park and its museums. Small town with a really good Chinese Restaurant. Very close to a nature reserve with great trails for hiking, and a place to go horseback riding. I highly recommend both the staff and horses at Ponyland. They even have a small petting zoo.Guest review byDianneUnited States
