- From £313.47 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 52 reviewsWhere to start.. the decor is delightful, french inspired, gorgeous chandeliers and art. The whisky room is fabulous and great choices in whisky (wish they had brandy or amaretto though). Comfortable bed, relaxing tub in the room! Piped in french music was a delight. Surprising details like a story book in the night stand, and a journal you can share your experience in the room. It was so fun to read. The town is charming and surrounding towns too. The wine tasting passport you receive was a wonderful perk, who doesn't like complimentary tastings? They waive the fee at a lot of great wineries. The grounds are lovely and relaxing (the weather was really hot so we didn't spend to much time outside). The wine happy hour was great with snacks. They have dessert happy hour as well. Breakfast was delicious and coffee was great. We needed coffee a little early due to a hot air balloon ride in the morning and they made us coffee earlier than normal :) service is amazing and everyone was so nice. We would definitely stay againGuest review byMartinUnited States
- From £229.20 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 509 reviewsI loved all the staff, starting when we arrived. The valet service was friendly and help with our bags, always one step ahead in providing assistance. I have to use a wheel chair, they help my wife take it down from the truck, very helpful. The staff in the registration desk, also very accommodating, since we arrived earlier then the checking in time, they allowed to check in to the room, since it was my 1st visit, I did not pay any extra fees Cheyenne was very helpful and very concerned and made us feel very important. I thank all the of the staff at Chumash Hotel and resort.Guest review byRudy MarrufoUnited States
- From £195.79 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 101 reviewsAbsolutely loved staying here! Myself and my wife couldn’t recommend enough. Everybody was so lovely and friendly - check in was totally seamless. We arrived 15 minutes after check in time and our room wasn’t ready so with out hesitation we received a very kind upgrade. The room was so comfortable and stylish. The location is cinematic. Such an excellent place to spend a couple of nights on our honeymoon road trip. Thank you so much everybody!Guest review byBenjaminUnited Kingdom
- From £221.90 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 218 reviewsthe hotel itself is a postcard for the region. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was a pleasant surprise: I am not a fan of buffet, i prefer personalization. So, when they came to us asking what we wanted for breakfast, i felt that this should be the norm. my only regret was to have missed the wine tasting.Guest review byAlexandreUnited Arab Emirates

Nice quaint town for a short get away.
Nice quaint town for a short get away. It mainly has bakeries & wineries to check out within walking distance of the hotels. Everything closes like at 8-9 pm, so best to start your day early. Ostrichland, lavender farms, & other wineries are within 3-5 miles of Solvang. Hotels are old & pricey.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

What a great small city, beautiful beautiful place and peaceful I’d live there in a heartbeat if I could You will breathe fresh air which is a huge bonus from where I come from! Just down the street is the infamous Solvang, which is a great place to shop and has lots of yummy places to eat. I like to go down and stroll the shops and hit up a pub and have a hamburger and a beer or a glass of wine. One thing I really like about Buellton, is Solvang is literally less than five minutes down the road. Such an amazing and fun little town! This is where I’m going to come shopping for Christmas presents because the shops there are amazing. You can find something for everyone, even on a budget. There is a trolly too! Wine tasting is so much fun! The candy shops are yummy too!Guest review byKellyUnited States - 10.0

I love the area - however, I wanted to purchase some Chumash Indian artifacts - baskets, pottery, jewelry, but didn't see or know where to go to buy them. The Chumash Cultural center/museum was not open, which was a disappointment! I will go back to visit it when it opens! I would go there again - the Cachuma Lake was beautiful! Thanks for a great time!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Los Alamos is a funky little stagecoach town, about 1 mile long. And there are excellent restaurants in the town, particularly Bell’s and Pico. Plenty of wineries nearby, and the towns of Los Olivos and Santa Ynez are a short drive away.Guest review byCyrusUnited States - 8.0

A lovely and tranquil hotel beautifully situated for wine tasting and touring. We dined at Gathering Table in Solvang. The restaurant was formerly located in the Ballard and we missed having a restaurant and chef onsite.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Solvang is great! Went with a friend.
Solvang is great! Went with a friend. But I’m taking my husband back in August for his birthday I can’t wait!!!!! The bakeries are so good. The shopping is fantastic! Wish they had a service to get your bags to hotels I would have bought a lot more.Guest review byShirleyUnited States - 10.0
My family and friend groups have been coming to the Buellton...
My family and friend groups have been coming to the Buellton/Santa Ynez/Solvang area for wine tasting and events for 30 years. I have been a member of many wineries over the years and love spending time in the area. Favorite wineries include Foxen, Lincourt, Firestone, Brickbarn, Beckman & Brander. We love to eat at Brothers at the Red Barn and Industrial Eats. The Figueroa Mountain Brewery and Firestone Brewery are great places to eat and usually have live music as well. I also love to visit the Clairmont Lavender Farm and buy Olive Oil from Olive Hill.Guest review byPattiUnited States - 10.0

Santa Ynez is a unique Valley, Beautiful with many site seeing ventures to fulfill your adventuresome side. Try your hand at gambling - from slots to video poker. Something for frugal spenders to "The Sky Is The Limits" budgets. Sweet tooth lovers cannot leave without devouring at least a Danish pastry and a late. For wine lovers - you require more than a week-end to taste the fruits-of-the-valleys. I'll drink to that! Feel like a trekking, try sightseeing a couple of notable missions - Santa Ynez has them.Guest review byThomasUnited States - 8.0

We came out for dinner at Bell's and breakfast at Bob's Well Bread and were not disappointed. Los Alamos is a cute little town that is great for a little get away. The town is very walkable with lots of little shops and restaurants. Bell's lived up to it's Michelin star rating and Bob's is 5+ stars!Guest review bySusanUnited States - 10.0

The town of Solvang is quaint. There is lots to do from great restaurants, lovely shops and museums. We quite enjoyed the Hans Christian Anderson Museum. It is a very walkable town and the trolley ride was very enjoyable.Guest review byHelenUnited States
