Market is excellent; great selection and presentation.
Market is excellent; great selection and presentation. We shopped and cooked or made picnics. Restaurants few and expensive. Chef at Roadhouse outstanding, though. Bovine bakery good but unfriendly. Access to Point Reyes excellent--and Point Reyes is an amazing place! Want to be alone on a vast stretch of beach? Go to one that you have to hike to. Lots of wildlife, wide variety of plants. Sand dollars, limpets, crabs.Guest review byabigdor - 8.0
Great place for families.
Great place for families. We went with daughter and her grown children and spouses. The place was just right for everyone. Fantastic views, great kitchen and something for everyone with the hot tub and game room. Deer in close proximity. Thouroughly enjoyed the stay.❤️Guest review byPATTIEUnited States - 8.0

Granted, we came in the off season, so we knew we weren’t going to get the full experience and we’d like to come back at some point. The bakery across the street had coffee and great pastries. The General Store is beautiful! The family who first owned it bought it back in 2021 and they’ve done an incredible job making it stocked with things you might need for your travels and lots of cute things to bring back as souvenirs.Guest review byIaUnited States - 10.0

Remote rustic setting near the ocean with vast areas of wilderness for hiking. Be sure to bring enough food if you do not plan to drive out to eat. Expect drives of 30 to 60 minutes each way. Check listings of restaurants and stores for hours and days of operation before driving out.Guest review bymarioUnited States - 8.0

We ate at The Tides Inn but it’s at Bodega Bay only a half hour away. Dillon Beach was exceptionally fun and friendly people too. We’ve been coming here for years and it’s been improving over time. The only slight bummer I noticed during this visit was there seemed to be a shortage of hamburger at every store we stopped into. I guess it’s time to make larger orders - not sure - maybe it has to do with Covid and supplies and lack of driver - I’m just not sure. Every store owner/clerk/employee was so helpful and offered to look up or call the next store we were heading to to see if they had hamburger prior to us making the trek over. We ended up just having dinner in Bodega Bay at Tides Inn and ordering hamburgers for our adult kids (that’s what they were craving). We had planned to grill them at the house we rented but….supply n demand said otherwise. Hoping to return next year.Guest review byCharleneUnited States
