The beach in Da Nang is great and lots of water-sports ect. I think it’s perfect for adventure or family holiday. Only negative is it’s a little soulless now around the beach so if authentic Vietnam is your wish there are better spots. Food choices are wildly good and affordable as is accommodation. Secluded and peaceful beach location, with well-groomed surroundings and a comfortable hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff was great! I had dinner at the Rice Bowl a few times, and the Japanese food and service were excellent! However, compared to similar restaurants in Hanoi, it was a bit pricy. The beach was excellent, clean and quiet. The proximity to the golf course was fantastic too, although I did not play, as I was there to watch a tournament. Loved every aspect of our holidays. The many activities from early hours ( before sunrise) throughout the day to late hours. Many places to eat, drink snd discover new tastes, singing, dancing surfing, you name it, it’s there. We did few trips through the hotel as packages, for easy and less stress time. If you get a good tour guide like we did at first, it makes it worth it. However pn our 2nd trip ( to golden bridge) she wasn’t very good, had to just follow snd did not tell us anything, rushed us and shortens the trip by 2 hours. Next time I’d take a grab/taxi, pay entrance there and you do as you wish, plenty of restaurants/ food stalls to chose from. We really enjoyed our stay at Ebisu Onsen Hotel although we were not traveling with children and we definitely did not realize the hotel was in a waterpark...I must have missed that part when using Booking.com to select this hotel. Kinda funny though, we still had a wonderful time walking the entire park which was absolutely beautiful. Loved using the hot springs and the big marble bath tub with beautiful view off the bathroom. We were notified that it would take 15+ minutes for the water for the bath to warm up. It really took a good hour for the water to get warm enough to soak in the bathtub comfortably. Once it did though it was an incredible experience. Apparently the hot water comes from the nearby hot springs thus the reason it took so long. Well-developed urban infrastructure, with the sea, mountains, rivers, the old downtown area, and the newly developed My Khe Beach beachfront hotel area. Nice beaches and lagoons, especially Lap An Lagoon. You can go for a boat ride around the lagoon, visit oyster farms and Lang Co fishing village. Or take a mototaxi to nearby Lang Co beach, village market and to the Hai Van Pass. Stopover at Ga Lang Co , the little train station, and wait for the train to arrive. From there you can also have a nice view of the fishing village and Lang Co Bay. Enjoy the seafood at the seafood restaurants, eg. An Lagoon where you can dine by the lagoon and watch the sunset.
