We had a lovely stay at happy house. Very big spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The owner was so helpful and planned a trip up to sapa on the bike for us and let us store our bags. Would highly recommend

The Sunflower was perfect, New, Clean & Comefortable with Great Staff & Management. We travelled from Hanoi to Ninh Binh to Phu Luang and Moc Chau on our way to the Land Above the Clouds - Ta Xua. We made the Sunflower our Base while we explored the Moc Chau area for three Days. We hired a Motorcycle & explored Caves, Tea & Fruit Plantations, Theme Parks & Waterfalls. We found an awsome little Bakery & some great food places. There is a big Dairy here and their local Yogurt with Black Rice on top...Do your mouth a favor and enjoy while your here.

I had an amazing stay. The owner was helpful. The room was very clean like all the areas. It was just my father and I staying there and they made a fire for us. Very calm and quiet place. I totally recommend

Nguyet is super nice and helped me to plan my trip and showed me interesting places around Moc Chau. The Location is in the middle of the night market. The Hostel itself is clean, the dorm generous, the water in the bathroom is hot and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend to stay here.

Breakfast was abit limited. I’m a British so there was a language barrier but the staff was accommodating at all times bringing the translator out. Really nice place indeed,buggy service is excellent always there when you need it

    The lady at the hostel was very kind and helped me a lot. I can't speak Vietnamese, but she always used Google Translate to explain things to me. she also booked a bus for me to my next destination. Even after checking out, she lets me stay in the room until the night bus arrived and helped me catch the bus. It's nice relaxing place. And the dog lives with her is so so so cute!

    A big spacious room, a bit dated but okay. The staff is supersweet, they do everthing to make you enjoy the stay, even gave me to heaters to get my luggage dry after biking through the rain.

    We travelled from Hanoi to Ninh Binh to Phu Luang and Moc...

    We travelled from Hanoi to Ninh Binh to Phu Luang and Moc Chau on our way to the Land Above the Clouds; Ta Xua. We made the Sunflower Hotel our Base while we explored the Moc Chau area for three Days. Great Hotel marked on Google Maps We hired a Motorcycle & explored Caves, Tea & Fruit Plantations, Theme Parks & Waterfalls. We found an awsome little Bakery (Google Maps)& some great food places. There is a big Dairy here and their local Yogurt with Black Rice on top...Definately enjoy while your here. There are several Themed places, we visited a couple, a Tea Plantation and the Waterfall with Glass Bridge. There are little roads suitable for cycling all around the area which is rich with horticulture & agriculture & very scenic. W&K 🇦🇺

    It's a pretty city...really easy to get about.

    It's a pretty city...really easy to get about. We visited the old French prison but the museum is undergoing renovation (March 2024). Only 50% of information panels were translated into English. Great to run by the river...no dogs to bother you!

    The mountainous scenery was amazing.

    The mountainous scenery was amazing. The food was tasty and special. People were so friendly and supportive. I loved the trip so much that I would plan another one by end of this year to enjoy the winter in Moc Chau.

    In Son La there is not much to do or to see.

    In Son La there is not much to do or to see. There is a night market, but it is not so special. Travellers should be careful when booking an online bus ticket from Son La to Hanoi paid in advance. The bus crew starting in Son La did not accept my online voucher for the ticket. Instead they demanded cash. So I paid twice because it was an over night bus and I had no alternatives.

    Love the tea plantation scenery in front of the Homestay.

    Love the tea plantation scenery in front of the Homestay. Wake up early to enjoy the morning wallk surrounding the place. Best time to stay is January when cherry tree blossom. Hope I can come again during the next Cherry Blossom. Host can improve the facilities better by servicing dinner for guests who come here to relax. Host is very kind and helpful in everything. Thank you 🙏
