The homestay members were extremely helpful and accommodating, all the while ensuring that we were having a good time. They were so thoughtful to pack us a hearty breakfast with fresh mangoes right from their garden because we had to checkout quite early. The tour arranged by them to experience the local market, handicrafts, and fruit garden was truly a pleasure. Sau who was our local guide is a wonderful woman. Nhi and Nhan were wonderful hosts who helped us navigate through the unknowns and were always just a chat away for any help requested. We paid 300 000DNG for better places. Important to note : you do not sleep in the ancient house but in a newer, random building. It’s clean and room is big enough. But it misses a proper glassed window, and charm. Also we arrived not so late (8 o’clock) and it was already closed. Our taxi driver had to call them as they are not on what’s app. Finally, the area is a bit to industrial so not necessarily a pleasure to wander around… the hosts were also not particularly keen on providing information. Property is studio apartment with the host living next door. Host provided anything we asked for, even bicycles free of charge. Host organised boat trip and took us to the bus station which was a good distance away. The property was right on the river, as is common there. Mytho is a nice little town.
Mytho is a nice little town. Set on the banks of a busy river. very good markets and shops, restaurants etc. The Boat trip at night was excellent and even had a karaoke system that we could join in and sing as we travelled along the river.Guest review byjamesVietnam - 10.0

Cool town on Mekong river with peaceful views and friendly people. There are so many activities to do like visiting fruit plantation, sitting on boat along a narrow channel with 2 green along the way. Not a huge amount to do in this area.
Not a huge amount to do in this area. It’s a great getaway to relax and unwind in a resort. To get there from HCM I would use a bus company to the tourist port. You can cycle around but there isn’t a huge amount to see. Not lots of choice of places to eat outside the hotel.
