What we loved most about our stay was the lovely staff. The ladies made us feel so welcome and were always up for a chat. They were really helpful with their suggestions and tips and always had an answer to all of our questions. We were sad we only stayed one night and will definitely be back. The establishment is very serene, well looked after and it has all the amenities not to mention an exceptional view of the ocean. Most importantly, it’s managed and owned by the warmest hosts and it offers the most wholesome breakfast! We will definitely be going back!Guest review bySalmanSouth Africa - 10.0

Gansbaai was a comfortable city with spectacular views where our family explored the southern coast of South Africa. We discovered hidden beaches, spotted many beautiful Protea flowers, sunbathed on Pearly Beach, went to the fish market in the harbor at Gansbaai, lunched on butter chicken and fish and chips at the Blue Goose, restaurant on Hoop St, hiked Klipgat Caves at the Walker Bay Nature Reserve, glimpsed a pod of orcas, and a mother Southern Right whale and her calf, spotted three of the Marine Big 5, dined at the White House, saw Danger Point lighthouse along a four wheel drive track along the beach, found crazy amounts of beautiful shells on the beach. It was an epic adventure.Guest review byDacusUnited States - 10.0

Kleinmond is a fantastic holiday destination to rest and explore the beauty of nature. The combination of sea, lagoon, mountains and fynbos as well as many pathways along the coast with longer hiking trails make Kleinmond a true gem of nature. Lovely coffee shops, restaurants and small shops make this coastal town very special. There are many activities for families - kayaking, hiking, swimming etc. Superb views and very well connected to nature.Guest review byMarietteSouth Africa - 8.0
Bettys Bay is a charming little coastal town.
Bettys Bay is a charming little coastal town. I think its perfect for tourists and locals if you are looking for a laid back breakaway. Its quite easy to get around and find different places of interest. We enjoyed visiting the Stony Point Penguin Colony. We spotted quite a number of birds. There are lovely trails for short hikes on the mountainside. The beach is wonderful with white soft sand. The water is quite cold though.Guest review byLorettaSouth Africa - 10.0

It's a quiet, understated town in the middle of high mountains, vast green space and quietness. Accessible from Cape Town and close enough to Hermanus for activities. It has small town charm, but you feel like you're in the country. Not touristy at all. Neat and clean.Guest review byDavidSouth Africa - 10.0
It is a very peaceful village with a lovely beach.
It is a very peaceful village with a lovely beach. I was there off season which was perfect as coming in summer must be hectic. Met very helpful people from the pharmacy, the small supermarket and the laundry lady. Excellent restaurant - The Cork Eatery! Very nice owner and very good food. Enjoyed a lovely meal. Beach is beautiful but I may have gone to the wrong entrance as a bit of a trek to the sea but well worth it. Big plus - pet friendly area.Guest review byKathrynSouth Africa - 10.0
