The family room was great. We had hot water in the shower. There is also an air-conditioning for heating, but we haven't used it. In the winter, the rooms are quite warm. We ate there once, and it was delicious. I highly recommend staying at My Pond.

    The Dungbeetle River Lodge was mentioned on many blogs and forums that recommended accommodation for visiting Addo Elephant Park and we quickly understood why: an exceptional place where we would have liked to spend more time. A magnificent view and location along the river (incredible view at breakfast), rooms decorated with great taste, a welcoming and available owner. The plus: the possibility of going on excursions for the activities they offer, in particular game reserves in Addo. We did the tour with Christo, great day and experience.

    Experience of a lifetime! Highly recommend - Our guide Matthews was great. He made sure everyone saw the animals they wanted (we saw lions (including cubs), rhino's, hippo's, cheetahs, giraffes, etc. etc.) to and the resort-like set up (all meals included, all game drives included) was incredible.

    Port Alfred is a small and attractive town with beautiful and clean beaches . It has beautiful villas guest houses and nice hotels with tasty food .There are so many tourist attractions eg. The golf club. It has two malls, Heritage mall and Rosehill mall. We went to eat at spur with my family.

    My stay at Adventure Apartment, Colchester was truly wonderful. The space was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and offered a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax and unwind. Every detail from the serene surroundings to the warm and welcoming ambiance, was thoughtfully arranged. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and a touch of elegance.     This was a new listing , and we were the first guests, LUCKY US!! The facilities offered are too many to mention. An updated kitchen with everything that opens and closes and more. Filter water on tap, a wine fridge, every spice that you can imagine. If you have forgotten anything at home, no stress they have it. A beautiful, clean, large family home. The beds are comfortable, shower pressure is great, wifi, dstv and views from every bedroom. Our host Larraine was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. This gem is a true home from home

    Really interesting community.

    Really interesting community. Best place is on the stoep at the Pig and Whistle. Their food was great, there is a pool table for entertainment for the kids. Prices are very good and the staff very friendly and helpful.

    Beautiful coastal town with lots to do.

    Beautiful coastal town with lots to do. We attended a beer festival in Wharf street. Guido's at the beachfront is a must for a simple but cheap meal with friendly service. The chicken liver starter is absolulelty to die for and enough as main meal.

    We stayed at Dungbeetle River Lodge for 2 nights while...

    We stayed at Dungbeetle River Lodge for 2 nights while visiting Addo. We arrived in the late afternoon and then took a full day game drive from the lodge. It was a bit much for us and would do a morning game drive next time. The experience was awesome, it was just too long for our pensioner bodies! Staying 2 nights was perfect because the evening gave us a nice recovery period before we hit the road for our return to Cape Town. Dungbeetle River Lodge was a perfect location from which to travel into Addo. It's literally 3 minutes from the south gate of the park.

    This is the place to stay for easy access to Private Game...

    This is the place to stay for easy access to Private Game Reserves and Safaris. Recommend Addo Elephant Park, Pumba Private Game Reserve & Sibuya. The restaurants were amazing too. Stanleys is a must. Pizzarella have amazing pizzas. Vollo and Voila also great.

    The Arms made our stay better their warmth in their Bistro made things better for us we only went to our accommodation only for sleeping.At the Arms they are good chefs there yhoo Zee made us feel home ill avoid going to no 6 York road next time but ill visit again the Arms Bistro to get the vibe.There was no Tv just bed and bathroom they offered us
