I've been fortunate enough to stay in many 5* hotels, but never have I experienced customer service on this level. The staff is so kind. Nothing is too much. Their attention to detail is beyond expectation and what makes the experience really unique is that their care for their is very personalised and seems genuine en sincere. The breakfast was amazing and their gym is also really good.

The traffic and road congestion does not get any better over the years. Taxi, bus and coach are the best ways to commute for visitors. Self drive being caught in traffic jams is very painful. A lot of suburban residents try to avoid the central and V&A waterfront - more buildings and developments in progress.

Langebaan is a quaint seaside "village" with lots to offer in terms of restaurants/pubs and beaches. If you're into gambling, the Mykonos Casino is close by. We enjoyed a karaoke evening at one of the local pubs, De Watergat. The staff were not so friendly, but despite this we managed to have a good time!
