- From £44.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.6Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 85 reviewsAmazing staff that are always there to help you with anything! From organising activities, to getting taxi's or ordering food, they are always there to for you (even if there's a big spider in your room, Emmanuel is always there to chase all unwanted small visitors out!) I could not thank them enough for everything they did for us and how well they helped us settle. The rooms are spacious, with comfy beds, clean bathrooms and AC. The cleaners often offered to clean our room and change the bedding too. Our room also had a small fridge which was very good for keeping cool drinks and fruit. The lodge has mosquito nets on every window so we avoided getting bitten and no flies around either. All communal areas of the lodge were cleaned daily by staff. The lodge's location is perfect, a 15 or 20 minute drive from most of the activities and very close to Victoria Falls, just a short walk from the nearest bars and shopping centre. The place was very quiet and peaceful at all times, we really enjoyed sitting outside by the fountain, watching the fish and dragonflies, and resting after our activities. We both felt very welcome and the lodge was so nice that we extended our stay till the end of our holiday! The perfect place for a couple, an individual or a family. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a quiet lodge with welcoming staff, lovely surroundings and a good location.Guest review byIdaUnited Kingdom
- From £790.50 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 26 reviewsLoved, loved, loved my stay at Camp Nkwazi! The Chalets are top notch, beautifully furnished, cozy and comfortable, have well working bath facilities and are kept very clean. The porch of the chalet overlooking the Zambezi is the perfect reading spot and fulfilled my safari dreams. The whole property is lush and green and makes a relaxing oasis in the dry season. Also each member of the staff was extremely kind and nice to talk to. Excellent service. Thank you for taking such good care of me! Wish I could have stayed longer. 100% recommendation.Guest review byRavenGermany
- From £865.06 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 120 reviewsIn a beautiful location next to the Zambezi river. Zebras and giraffes wandering the grounds. Hotel residents have free access to the national park where you can walk along a path with excellent view of Victoria falls. We stayed in February and the falls on the Zambia side were very impressive and although it was misty this didn’t obscure the views.Guest review byCorinneUnited Kingdom

Obviously the Falls - and the Zambian side is without the best viewing aspect. The township is clean and has most amenities with the Museum being its highlight. A sunset river cruise is a must do and a helicopter flight is well worth the price.Guest review byJohnZambia - 10.0

Livingstone is a bustling, lively city that never sleeps.
Livingstone is a bustling, lively city that never sleeps. Nights are full of sounds from music, trucks, trains, dogs. Accommodation outside town is quieter. It is easy asy to walk around through you will be approached and asked which country are you from which is an introduction to sales and marketing spin for some item! A vibrant African city full of character and not over run with tourists. The view half ways up Mosi-oa-Tunya road, outside Livingstone museum down onto Victoria Falls spray is amazing to see in the town, and coffee shop further up the hill serves locally produced good coffee. Getting around Livingstone was easy to walk or get a friendly taxi. Fishing up the Zambezi for tIger fish on a small boat was a great way to get a view onto the river, hippos, smiling crocs, birdlife, villages with a local fishing guide. I caught no fish but would go fishing again here anytime.Guest review byMargaret
