We loved the hotel and surroundings in the jungle. The stuff was really kind, helpful and professional, the rooms are spectacular tree houses with paths between, pretty new and fresh.The pool, jacuzzi and sauna is ideal addition to our pleasant stay.

One of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka. Beautiful relaxed setting, great pool, lovely rooms and comfortable beds. The staff were exceptional. My adult son came down with a fever the day we arrived and the Manager was amazing giving him traditional teas etc and taking great care of him while we visited some local area. He recovered within a day and did a hike! Also the food was delicious. Cant recommend this place enough

Beautiful property in a beautiful location with view over Lion’s Rock. Only 8 rooms, making the property very quiet. Rooms are very large, ours even had a plunge pool. Restaurant is on site and is very good. Staff is responsive and helpful (they booked our transfer from the airport and then onward to Kandy). Super recommended!

It's a real resort. Only 12 rooms as separate bungalows, swimming pool and a restaurant. Very calm and close to the nature place. The service was great, as they allowed us an early check-in at 9 am instead of 2 pm. Would gladly spend more time there.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by its excellent location, comfortable beds, lush garden, and the warm and helpful owner. The location of Sigiriya Rock Gate Resort is truly unbeatable. Situated amidst nature's splendor, with stunning views of Sigiriya Rock, the resort provided a picturesque backdrop for a relaxing and memorable vacation. Being so close to this iconic attraction allowed me to explore it at different times of the day, avoiding the crowds and truly savoring its beauty. The beds at the resort were nothing short of heavenly. After a day of sightseeing, coming back to such a cozy and inviting bed was a pure delight. I slept like a baby, and it helped me recharge for the next day's adventures. The well-maintained garden added an extra touch of tranquility to the resort. It was a lovely place to stroll around, unwind with a cup of tea, and connect with nature. I found myself spending quite a bit of time there, enjoying the serenity it offered. The owner of Sigiriya Rock Gate Resort played a pivotal role in making my stay truly exceptional. Their warm and accommodating nature made me feel right at home. From offering valuable local insights to assisting with any request, their hospitality was exemplary and added a personal touch to the entire experience. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh, it was a gastronomic delight! The meals served at the resort's restaurant were not only delicious but also a true representation of Sri Lankan flavors. The variety of dishes offered was impressive, and each one was a delightful discovery for my taste buds. One of the standout moments of my stay was the complimentary ride to the Sigiriya Lion rock provided by the resort.

    The Resort was like a little private paradise as they have a few private bungalows and don’t accept a numerous amount of guests. In addition the pool and restaurant area were very nice, giving the option of a various food menu (typical srilankan and international). The Staff was probably the greatest part of our stay as they were very kind and always satisfied our needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying a few days in Sigyria.

    The resort was everything you could dream about in a holiday. A luxury in the middle of Sigiriya‘s famous rocks and a pool to enjoy the view from. The service and the room was fabulous, the bed was the comfiest we slept in so far. Since we spent our honeymoon there we could not have asked for a more memorable stay. Thank you everyone to make this stay so special for us!
