The location and this place is special on a hill top at the end of beautiful Talalla beach. The restaurant location overlooking the beach is cool and serves good food. Many monkeys in the green gardens. The resort has sunbeds down on the beach and there some stall selling clothes. Sri Lanka does not get better then this

Perfect hotel, perfect location on a cliff above the ocean. The pool is huge. The food is very varied and delicious. The beach below the hotel is good for kids, natural pools form the rocks and sea turtles come there. The entertainment man named Ajantha kept the kids busy with pool games and was very kind.

A fantastic place to stay in Dickwella. Located Right in front of the beach 🤩. The hosts were super friendly. The accommodation is modern, clean and well-presented/maintained—super comfy beds. We’ll stay there again on future trips to Dickwella. Exceptional service and lovely touches make your stay memorable but with that personal, genuine touch. I recently spent my holiday at Pinipahana Walauwa in Matara, located down south in Sri Lanka, and it was a wonderful experience. The property is a charming, well-maintained heritage-style house with a peaceful atmosphere and clean surroundings. One of the highlights was the English breakfast, which was absolutely delightful and well-prepared. I also enjoyed the dinner options, which came at an additional cost but offered a good variety to choose from and were very satisfying. The location adds to the experience with a serene pool and a distant sea view, creating the perfect setting to unwind. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway with a touch of history!

I loved this homestay! It was super spacious, very clean and the family was just absolutely lovely! I unfortunately was a bit ill with the flu when I was there so I spent a few days in bed. So I’m glad it was comfortable to stay there. It’s super close to the beach which is beautiful! It also had some nice restaurants nearby. And the breakfast was simple but good. I do think you need to have a scooter if you would like to explore more of Tangalle. I did rent a scooter from the property and I have to say it was not the safest scooter I’ve had. If driving a bit fast, the whole bike started shaking and the breaks were not the best. However for my use it was okay. I would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Tangalle.

Amazing property ! Great service , super comfortable rooms. Spa experience was amazing too . Especially loved that they have left things to be natural, they were peacocks and monitor lizards around the property, which was amazing. They had a few activities for the people staying , loved the boat ride . They have thought through the smallest of the things one may require.

A very pleasant experience at sea light. This guesthouse only opened in Jan hence lack of reviews but everything brand new, clean, modern and a lovely pool also. Laundry done on site & big spread of breakfast was served included also. Owners went above and beyond to assist in any was possible. Extras such as tea making, toiletries and pool towels were added touches.
