It takes about 1.5 hour from the nearest airport. In a secluded area. But when we arrive, we are greeted with such amazing view! Nice property, secluded and tranquil. We are facilitated with full service, and our children comfort is well taken care off. They are super happy because they can harvested their own vegetable to table. They are building new properties, single unit villas with their own private pools and facilities. Perfect for future romantic escape. Not to forget to mention their exceptional restaurant, Umanga'a. We have a top notch dinning experience celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. We would love to going back to Umarato in our future holiday.

The staff were amazing and treated me like family. They were generous with their hospitality, not over the top or fawning. The building is exceptional. The entire stay was fantastic! I would definitely stay here agin!!

We loved everything about the property and especially the students and team that are learning and working there. What an inspiring place to stay during our honeymoon! We were moved to tears when our stay was over because it was such a special experience!

Staying a Nihi is a wonderful experience. The staff was super attentive even before we arrived at the property and after they dropped us at the airport. Sumba is a beautiful island and the Nihi area didn’t disappoint, highly recommend strolling around the beach! Of course don’t miss the horses, it was dreamy. Our villa was stunning, everything was spotless. We had a massage in our room and was one of the best ones we’ve ever had! Food and drinks were also superb, great selection to choose from. We are only sad we couldn’t stay longer!

Crystal clear water, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent service. The view from the hotel is breathtaking, especially at sunset. This hotel was amazing for us. The design is in local style, very natural and beautiful, so we felt the real spirit of Sumba. The room was clean and comfortable, and the food was always tasty. The staff were kind and smiling all the time. Around the hotel there are wonderful trips. To small villages, to the beach, and into the nature. The sunset view in the evening was something we will never forget.

The food is amazing. Fresh and made with local ingredients. We loved each meal. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the island. The owners are kind and very friendly. We loved every minute in here. Everything was homecooked and made we love. There is no plastic and waste in here and there is free water to have at all times.

Rua Beach Resort Sumba asub Ruas, Rua rannast 80 meetri kaugusel. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja terrass. Külalised saavad nautida basseinivaateid. My father and I enjoyed very much our stay in Rua hotel. We had a clean and spacious room facing the beach. We could hear the sound of the waves at night. The mattress is very comfortable, there is hot water with good pressure, and the AC works perfectly, although we did not used at night since it is not needed. The hotel is in a quite area and has a nice swimming pool. The beach near by can be walked with low tide. The hotel is in a great location to explore the area around.

Bobocabin Umarato, Sumba asub Waikabubakis, Rua rannast 1,2 km kaugusel. Majutusruumides on konditsioneer ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Amazing location with great views in a very peaceful environment. The staff is incredibly friendly and genuine. Ven, Gustav, Kris, Uni, and Edward were all very kind to us.
