Guests learn about the wildlife in the park and watch documentaries in the library. Our whole stay at Wild Coast was magical. We came to celebrate our honeymoon and there could have been no better place. The concept is incredible - a luxurious experience while nestled amidst nature. Staff is incredible and take very good care of you. Food and drinks are incredible. We stayed 2 nights and would have loved to have stayed for longer. Game drives were amazing. We had a spectacular dinner on the beach under the stars. Every minor detail is so carefully and meticulously planned. Wild coast has been a major highlight from travels over the last 15 years.

Yakaduru Yala is located on the buffer Zone of Yala National Park. It's just 5 minutes away from the Yala National Park Entrance. Yakaduru is renowned for its architecture and tourism, where guest can stay in properties built by Mud and palm thatched roofing. It was a magnificent experience not only because we saw so much nature and wild animals at a close range but because the staff were the best. Nishantha took us to see a local woman who was so poor yet she used whatever means she had to look after 22 orphaned puppies whose mother had been killed. The level of poverty was astounding. The staff help her to survive. Without them there would be certain death. If you can spare some money please give it to him and he will pass it on. A truly humbling and touching experience that jolts you to the core. Special mention to our mates at Yala who made our stay so memorable Sajith, Kasun, Nishantha and our safari driver Amile. At the resort, every room comes with a wardrobe and a balcony with a garden view. The private bathroom is equipped with a bidet, free toiletries and a hairdryer. All units at The Yala Lodge include air conditioning and a desk. I really like the breakfast I think that the suite that we stayed in was very spacious and it was clean, well organized, and it was a treat to have the private to our accommodation.

Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a bidet and free toiletries, the units at The Den at Yala have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and certain rooms will provide you with a balcony. The rooms at the accommodation come with a seating area. I had a wonderful stay at The Den at Yala. The place was spotless and very well maintained, which made it super comfortable. The hosts were so welcoming and made me feel at home right away. The food was homemade, fresh, and absolutely delicious – a real highlight of the stay. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Yala!

The resort features an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi throughout the property. Amazing place, secluded, private, attentive staff and great food. Only has few reviews due to it being relatively new. Organized safari for us and we saw good wildlife. Staff super attentive, there are only 4 rooms so its a very private and personalized stay.

We also took the Safari with him , saw all the animals.

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. Everything was exceptional. The room was unlike any other hotel in recent memory. Equipped with top tier tech and unrivaled design. The food and chef were exceptional. The service was outstanding. The location was unique and exciting. The staff including manger were very accommodating of requests and the spa was also top notch.

Guest rooms at the accommodation have air conditioning and a desk. Spacious clean AC rooms very close to Yala’s Katagamuwa entrance. We had our own front porch in a very peaceful private garden setting. The owner and host, Kapila, took care of all our needs, and arranged our full day safari for the next morning. He is a retired environmental journalist who knows plenty about all the SL national parks,especially Yala and the animals. We had an excellent safari driver and jeep. Kapila accompanied us on the safari which was a treat because he shared all his knowledge of the past, present and future of Yala, as well as all the details of every bird, mammal, reptile, insect we saw. The host family cooked us a most delicious homemade meal of rice and curry/fruits and cold beers. Just make sure you let Kapila know that you will want dinner beforehand, and anything else you want. I highly recommend boundary yala for your yala safari and stay. We enjoyed our time there and saw everything and learned a lot about the animals.
