How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewEverything went smoothly, from check-in to check-out. There was an elevator if you have a lot of bags and your room is on the upper floors. The staff was very nice, and the room was exactly as in the photos. Location was perfect.
We stayed on a Friday night after hiking the GRP for a week, so we were very tired. Unfortunately, our room's window faced the square with the hostel's bar, and it was very noisy until around 3 am (we had to have a window open as it was very hot). Therefore, cannot recommend for a good night's sleep. Otherwise, friendly to hikers.

Verified reviewAll was good! The staff was attentive and it was very much worth the money we paid. Clean and decently spacious the room itself. moving around the building is wuite tight tho, especially if you have some luggage. The hotel is locted right in the old town which is great and has a nice bar downstairs. We could hear it during the evening, but luckily we were so KO after our hike that we didn't mind. Wifi worked well and chekcout was just at 12, which was amazing.
The shower could have a stronger stream.

Verified reviewThe proximity to the area in the old town was great, only a 4 min walk to the bus station, the room was smallish but very comfortable note there is no A\C but its not hot there and the breeze from the windows is great, and there is a fan. The beer and food is just great and very reasonable.
No access to the elevator to the ground floor before 0900 so you have to carry your bags one flight

Verified reviewGreat place, completely unexpected in the old part of the town in walking distance of all the shops, bars and restaurants. A biker's pub with quirky decor and loads of choice of beers etc. The food was great and staff so friendly and from all over the world. Very popular place it seems, we will be back! The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and comfortable with a great view of the mountains .
A little noisy from the bar until late but only to be expected so not a problem.

Verified reviewThe staff were very friendly. I was hiking for 5 days and they kindly stored my bag during the hike as I stayed before and after. It is in a great location and has a very lively pub. If you are travelling by bus you can take the elevator down just by the hotel. It is also good value!
Nothing to report

Verified reviewIt’s In a lively spot in the old town part of La Vella. Also not far from the bus Station. The staff were fantastically friendly and helpful. On my first day I asked to change my room from front facing as it was a bit noisy with the bar below. They moved me to a back room with no fuss at all. I really appreciated that. I would happily stay here again.
My room could have been slightly cleaner. The floor was quite dusty and there were food wrappers left under the bed. Someone next door had a TV or radio blaring all night which disturbed me a bit as I needed the window open due to the heat.

Verified reviewI had a private room and it was lovely. Super clean, nice sheets, ensuite bathroom, came with towels. Very convenient location too. Had a fan which was perfect with Andorra’s mountain breeze. Hostel has elevators to the rooms
Nothing! It is an uphill climb from the bus station, but that’s expected in Andorra La Valla

Verified reviewEverything about this hotel was great. The staff was friendly. It wasn’t too loud (I would close my window and turn on the fan). The food options were good. The room was nicer than I expected. When I return someday I will stay here again. The staff was very communicative with my late arrival.

Verified reviewCheap and super cool - cool staff and bar with drinks and food open til midnight. Beds were comfortable enough, shower worked well and had enough toiletries etc.
Noise outside because of the bar might be a turnoff for some It was crazy hot in the room without AC in June - the fan saved me though so I cant complain for the price

Verified reviewAmazing location, couldn't be more central that this. Walking distance to all the important touristic points, the beautiful path Rec del Solà, restaurants, bars and the central bus station. Really nice view from the room, towards the city and the mountains. Very clean and comfortable room, with everything needed. Friendly and helpful staff.
For those who are bothered by the noise during the night, the bar from the ground floor of the same building might be a problem, as it closes after midnight during the weekends. For me it wasn't a problem.

Verified reviewAn awesome place to stay. It's a hostel with very nice and comfy private rooms. It was sparkling clean and nicely decorated although I'm a teetotaler. Great location in the old town and a walking distance to the national bus terminal. Good price of coffee. Nice and friendly staff. I recommend this place.
The noise - there's a pub downstairs and you can hear the voice and noise all the way up to the fourth floor. Quite disturbing and annoying.

Verified reviewHotel staff made the check-in process very smooth. The room is good and very clean, and I definitely loved the mountains' view. It's located very close to the international bus station and the main city attractions. Overall, I'm satisfied with the place.
It can be a bit noisy at night, but didn't bother me too much. Bed is average and can be better.

Verified reviewThis hostel offers a unique blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Its central location makes it an ideal base for exploring Andorra’s cultural landmarks, shops, and scenic mountain trails.
There is nothing to dislike. If I ever come to Andorra again, I would prefer to stay in the same hotel.
