How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The mattresses and pillows in the room No. 1503 were deformed and damaged & this is not good at all for a 4-star hotel. Even the conditions in a 2-star hotel are not like this. I hope they think about this.

Main issue; The room, especially the bathroom, was dated and quite dirty. Also; Squeaking door from outside of room throughout the night was not ideal. No AC, (fans were provided though) As an FYI, the parking basement is narrow, dark and confusing, however very convenient.

As we are located at over 1,500 m altitude, nights are traditionally cool even during summer, which is why our facilities do not have air conditioning. However, fans are always available upon request to ensure greater comfort. We would also like to clarify that we are indeed a four-star hotel, fully certified. In this area, it is difficult to find establishments offering such a wide range of facilities: an outdoor swimming pool with free access, private parking, bowling alley, two bars, a wellness and spa centre, a free mini club for children, and guided hikes included in the stay. Regarding the indoor parking, we appreciate your observations. Its structure follows the natural limitations of the mountain environment, but we are glad you found it convenient overall. In contrast, our private parking offers direct access to the hotel, is enclosed and secured, which many of our guests value for convenience and peace of mind. The receptionist named Manuel was extremely rude. About a month ago, my friends and I decided to have a little retreat in Andorra, we had very high expectations, but as we arrived to the hotel, we felt like we bothered Manuel, by asking questions about facilities. Furthermore, two day before check-in we called in to ask if there was a possibility to add an extra bed to the room, which they answered yes to, at the price of 30€ extra. The day of check-in Manuel insured us that non of us called the hotel to add the bed. At the end we had to pay 120€ extra to upgrade ourselves to a suite for 3 people. Complete nonsense. Got to the room, had to walk all the way back to the reception as the key was not working. The room itself was dirty, shower, bathtub was broken, dirty linens with black hair (we’re 3 blondes…), curtain was broken, dust on every surface, the room basically hasn’t been cleaned in ages. Not to mention we were placed on the ooother side of the hotel, had to take 3 different elevator… Anyway we decided to give the bowling a go… what could go wrong with a bowling?…A lot apparently… got downstairs, quite a nice place I have to say, very fun. however, the staff….. the bartenders… we felt INVISIBLE, as ghosts. There was no one, maybe 2 families playing and us. We waited 20 mins just to be acknowledged. Just to cross eyes with one of the 3 bartenders, one was cleaning the coffee shop, another one flirting with a client and one making drinks. We finally ordered, waited 15 more minutes to receive our 2 iced teas and one Coca Cola. But it was nice, bowling was fun, 5€ per person per game, good deal, just don’t order drinks.

Regarding the extra bed, we regret the confusion; however, we would like to clarify that neither of our hotels offers extra beds—these simply do not exist in our facilities. We understand how this misunderstanding could have caused frustration, especially upon arrival. We are also very concerned about the condition of the room you described. The issues with cleanliness and maintenance are far from the standards we aim to uphold. We will escalate your feedback to the housekeeping and maintenance teams to conduct a thorough review. Verified reviewAndorra experience was really different and cool! I recommend the hotel and it was really an amazing value for its money. Maybe the only minus was that we didn’t know we have to pay additional for spa, and it comes very pricey if you want to make a really spa holidays (15€\ h per person, so it at least 75€ a day from 1 person if you are really a spa fan like me, and from the family of 3 it’s 225 € additional a day). Really upsad with the fact as I plan to be at spa. Next time I’ll book more expensive hotel with the spa included like I do usually. Breakfast was good, rooms too Internet good, reception good Really additional spa cost in a hotel that has a “spa” in its name it’s a shame! Thank you
