Even though she was strict about the late check-out policy, she handled the situation with respect and a calm attitude, which I really appreciated. Her communication was clear, and she made sure everything else during my stay went smoothly. A perfect balance of firmness and friendliness — truly a great example of excellent customer service. When I arrived and asked for my room, they first showed me a room that was extremely dirty and smelled terrible. When I questioned them about the room I had actually booked, they then showed me a different one with a small kids’ area. Unfortunately, the second room was not any better — the door lock was broken, the flat had a strong foul smell, it was infested with cockroaches, and overall, it was not clean. The bedsheets were dirty, and there was no complimentary drinking water. I had to pay 5 AED for just two bottles of water. Additionally, there was no kettle or tea bags provided. This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever booked through Booking.com. The toilet was in poor condition — the WC wasn’t even properly fixed and was wobbly. I asked about the pest, the staff itself got irritated and told me we will do the pest control. I strongly urge Booking.com to verify the accuracy and quality of the listings they promote. This experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Although i have forced to stay because i came from Abu Dhabi, and it was difficult to search another hotel during that time. After all I paid AED 325 for one night stay.
