How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewOur stay on 27–28 August was truly memorable. The architecture and design are breathtaking, blending modern elegance with absolute luxury. The views from our room were amazing, and the breakfast was the best we have ever had — especially the French toast, which was unforgettable. The staff were outstanding — warm, professional, and attentive — and really made us feel special throughout. The dining overall was exceptional, and our room was beautifully appointed with every detail thoughtfully considered.
Nothing at all — our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy more of the incredible facilities.

Verified reviewThe staff were disgustingly rude at this hotel. They do not care about any concerns you may have. We checked in and went to our room for 2 mins as we had a meeting booked. The valet team took our car into the car park despite being told we would be back in 5/10 mins. They had some sort of event at the hotel. We was stood waiting for over an hour for them to then bring our car back up!!! Surely hotel guests who are paying guests get priority on valet parking?!! We was told repeatedly that there was nothing they could do. Staff laughed at us in our faces. Absolutely disgusting. I bought this up with the team at one and only they said they would call me/email and nothing. No apologies. Nothing to recompensate us for this awful experience. Not only did we miss our important meeting no1 apologised to us. If you are looking for a personalised experience where staff are polite and care do not book this hotel!!!?
The staff. Upon arrival the person who checked us in - (a guy) he was whispering - we could not hear a single word and when we said we can’t hear you he just awkwardly kept laughing. So rude. No1 told us where any of the facilities are - surely this is done upon check in? Is this because your staff are not confident enough to speak. The whole experience has been awful

Verified reviewI had a very disappointing experience during breakfast. Despite ordering three dishes, we had to wait for more than an hour, and eventually only one dish was served — which was incorrect. As a result, I did not receive the breakfast I had already paid for as part of my booking. This experience left me very dissatisfied and did not meet the standards I expected from a hotel of this level. I strongly suggest improving the efficiency and organization of the breakfast service to ensure that guests receive their meals correctly and on time. Better training for staff and closer attention to orders would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

We had to wait from 9am in the reception till 3 pm for the room this normally in Dubai it does not exist at all . I have been over 90 times to Dubai this has never happened to me and when I complained that they didn’t even offer anything then they offered lunch . But when I checked out it was in the bill and when I complained they said lunch was not included it’s not about lunch but I find it to be very disrespectful I would have given them 1 out of 10 just for this . but I didn’t want because I think something happened there . They still haven’t rectified there mistake and they do insist that lunch was not included I have demanded them to show me where I signed for lunch they still haven’t shown me
