AustraliaThe only issue we had (which wasn’t the fault at all of the property) were the flys and mosquitos. The mozzies were clearly a problem, but this is typical in any Caribbean island at this time of year, the hotel also goes to great trouble to protect the guests as much as possible.
The property was in a fantastic location, surrounded by beautiful beaches and in a very tranquil part of the island. The resort was easy to get to from the airport and was well laid out. The food was great and there were some really good selections with a couple of meat and fish options each night with lots of vegetables to accompany them. The bar was well stocked and the service was prompt. We thought that the staff were very friendly and hospitable. The service was always quick and efficient, you were made to feel very welcome. The hotel was very accommodating, we booked a room for three but after the first night we decided we needed the extra bed, the hotel staff made up a third bed in our room very promptly. The standout staff were David (beach bar), and the hostesses waitresses at dinner.

United KingdomThe bedrooms are really dated. The air con didn’t work and the room felt damp. Shower room very dated. The food choices at lunch are good (3 restaurants) but at night it’s just the buffet. Feels like there could be more variety on a night, we had buffet 6 out of 7 nights, one night was a BBQ which was nice. The service was hit and miss some people were nice and friendly, some of the staff were rude. Would walk off when speaking to you, very lethargic service. Breakfast was meant to start at 7, they’d always leave you waiting and be setting up until 7.15am, maybe it’s just the Caribbean laid back style. Need a better drinks service! From breakfast to 12pm the main bar is closed. N if you’re by the pool you can’t get a drink unless somebody walk by. PJ grill is very dated with no drinks available, only a lunch serving. Should be more staff offering drinks by the pool and beach service. Or an App for drinks to sunbeds. We had one bottle of water in our room on arrival, and it was never replenished. We had to use the same bottle over and over again, which was little grubby. If they sorted the service, food and drink offering and added more waiting staff this could be an amazing hotel, as the views are unparalleled.
The hotel location is stunning. The beaches are beautiful and the pool and views are just lovely.

GuyanaWish there was more meal option at the buffet restaurant. Prepare to do a lot of walking since the compound is very big and your room may be on one side and the restaurant/pool may be on the other side.
The resort is next to the beach so u can have access just a couple footsteps from your room, there was a lot of birds around. I love the whole feel of being at this resort, it's different from what I am used to its more to the nature side. I had a good stay. I also saw the most beautiful sunset the evening I arrived.

GermanyOne area where there is still room for improvement is the handling of dietary needs during meal times. While the food was tasty, it would have been helpful if dietary options were more clearly indicated and proactively communicated. We often had to ask about ingredients and occasionally found it difficult to locate suitable options for specific dietary requirements. With a little more attention in this area, the dining experience could easily match the high standards set by the rest of the hotel.
We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was a beautiful, peaceful, and quiet place — perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The atmosphere was calm, the surroundings were well-maintained, and everything felt very welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the experience was very comfortable and pleasant overall.

However, I do appreciate that if there was a better food offering, this place would attract a much higher price for its all inclusive offering. If the food offering was improved, Hawksbill would definitely be elevated from its current 3 star offering..
The overall setting of the place and of course the wonderful staff who couldn't do enough for you. The location was perfect and the grounds were amazing . Our room was perfectly located on the beach and kept spotlessly clean.

Location was fantastic rooms opened onto a little grassed area then you were on the sandy beach. All inclusive meals were delicious and plentiful. All inclusive cocktails served to your lounger by the infinity pool with a view over the bay - a true Caribbean paradise.
