Like the rest of Antigua, the roads are dotted with potholes.

We absolutely loved our stay at Orrie’s on Antigua's most beautiful beach! Shawn, a wonderful local host, made us feel right at home. It was such a refreshing change from the all-inclusive resorts, and having local restaurants and supermarkets nearby was so convenient for preparing simple meals and enjoying those amazing beach sunsets. The view from our room was simply breathtaking – waking up to the beach and sea every day was a treat. Plus, the tropical gardens with the adorable tortoises and the fun beach bar with their fantastic rum punches made it even more memorable. Hiring a car from the airport made it a lot easier to get around.

We arrived at Orries after i was discharged from hospital in antigua to recover post pneumonia. Shaun couldn't have been more helpful and supportive. His care and support was above and beyond he took us food shopping, he took us to and from a local restaurant he even used his mobile to phone our insurance company when our phones wouldn't work. He is so friendly and helpful and the location is stunning I truly believe Shaun played a huge part in my recovery and we are both very grateful to him

This is in no way a criticism, however if you are a light sleeper please take ear plugs & an eye mask. The room is close to the main road & the curtains are thin & flimsy.

The walkway to the rooms is steep- be cautious if you have mobility issues.

I've never stayed in a place that exceeded all my expectations, and I'll return to Orrie's as much as possible. Turner beach is incredible- gentle waves, fine sand, and not crowded at all. The location can't be beat. Ortie's is right next to a resort that costs at least 4x the price, so the value for money is unbeatable. The property is excellent- hot water in the showers, balconies overlooking the beach with sunset views, extremely comfortable beds, and a gorgeous, manicured pathway with flowers, artwork and turtles! Shawn, the owner, is a truly exceptional host. For example, one of the guests had a craving for French fries. He put the oil on, drove to the store, bought potatoes and made them for her on the spot!

A fantastic location and the staff there was so friendly and accommodating. Morning swims in the ocean and incredible sunsets from the room balcony. It's only a short walk to a few other restaurants on the beach. It is a beautiful place and I would happily go back in the future.

Expensive for what it was, rooms are very comfortable but cheaply furnished. Breakfast could have been included for the price. Were offered water when we arrived & then charged US $6 for it.

Fantastic location right on the beach. Great home cooked breakfast. Couple of beach bars within a short walk for other choices of eating, we did have a few evening meals here as well and these were great. Antigua as it should be.

There's nothing to say for this. It was my favorite stay in Antigua.

Sean and Valencia were super Hosts! They went out their way to make sure I was having a great time. Delicious local-style breakfast and dinner was spot on! The views were amazing, sounds of the ocean from my bed and the aircon was great :) karaoke night was fun too.

The property is very modern & clean! Wifi works throughout the property and even on the beach! The view from the room is amazing! All the rooms have a balcony facing the ocean. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night was majestic and made for very comfortable nights sleep. The rooms are way better and more spacious than any hotel chain. The walls are thick too so you never hear anything going on next door or above.

Nothing to do with Orries, but you do need a car to get around as the places nearby are limited for food or closed (in June).

Great staff, real Caribbean feel to my stay (third time!) Reggae playing, great location on one of the quieter beaches. Food is basic but great, if you want something specific in the evening just ask. I asked during the day and they got it ! Drinks too. Good WiFi. If you want to escape the big hotel type holiday this is a great choice.

Big spacious room, with everything you need. Facilities to cook meals if needs be, but also nice food available on site or there was a couple of places near by to eat. Staff were amazing, made you feel like you were at home, would definitely stay here again if I return to Antigua.

Everything is made to order so no menu with prices for most items. We opted to setup a tab and pay when we checked out. If you are not familiar with Antiqua prices and the exchange rates, I would recommend settling your account each day. As a side note, if you are looking for nightlife till the wee hours of the morning or a pedicure on the beach this is not the place for you.

We spent an amazing 3 days at Orrie's. We got dropped off and made this our destination. There is no reason to leave such a relaxing place when it has everything you need. Shawn, Steve and Jawkim welcome you with open arms and will get you anything you request during your stay. If they don't have it they will get it. Whatever you want to eat is cooked individually delicious and fresh. Besides the beautiful beach, there is a tortoise area and a landscaped hillside where you can sit and admire the ocean view but if you can't disconnect completely the internet is fast at the bar, in the room and even on the beach.
