How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

As you experienced, while we don't have a restaurant onsite, you can stroll down the sand to the island's top casual and fine dining restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner including Straw Hat, Jacala, Blanchards, Blanchards Beach Shack, Ocean Echo and Savi Beach Club, as well as other 5-star resorts with restaurants and bars. For guests who prefer to have food onsite, all 15 of our resort's suites and villas have a full kitchen equipped with every gadget and our staff can grocery shop for you before you arrive or anytime during your stay. We hope you enjoyed the complimentary cocktail and chilled towels at arrival, along with the complimentary first day's stock of wine, beer, water and soft drinks waiting for you in your fridge and the fresh pastries delivered to you your first morning. Hopefully you also enjoyed our daily beach butler service, including complimentary water, and handcrafted cocktails, beer, wine and soft drinks for purchase. Verified reviewThe location was great. Only steps to the beach at Meads Bay. There were chairs, water, sunscreen and towels at the beach. It was within walking distance of several good restaurants. The staff was fantastic. They took care of everything we needed. The condo was beautiful. It had a full kitchen and had everything we needed to make a meal. It is near a good grocery store.
I have no complaints. None at all. Oh ! I have one .... I had to go home.

I didn’t like that there was no restaurant or room service (food) on the property and although there were restaurants close by, some were closed on certain days.

Our boutique resort does not have a restaurant onsite because there are so many of Anguilla's top West End restaurants just a stroll down the sand and our guests appreciate having a variety of options. As you experienced, our resort provides complimentary fresh-baked French pastries your first morning with option to continue the service, your first day's stock of beer, soft drinks and water in the fridge complimentary, as well as basic pantry items in your kitchen and coffee and tea, and the optional ability to have our concierge grocery shop for you before you arrive and throughout your stay. We can also arrange a private chef. Many of our guests like to have breakfast and snacks in their suite or villa and then enjoy lunch at and dinner at a nearby restaurant or have our concierge order in delivery for them to enjoy in their suite or villa, on their terrace or on the beach. We are very lucky to be mere steps away from so many casual and fine dining restaurants including Straw Hat, Blanchards Beach Shack, Jacala, Blanchards, Savi Beach Club, Celeste, Salt, Ocean Echo, Sunset Lounge, Leon's and more. We are also within only a few minutes drive of many more restaurants and resorts. Anguilla does not have any all-inclusive resorts so its over 100 bespoke restaurants around the island are open to everyone. Our concierge is happy to make reservations for guests before arrival, as well as once on island, and can recommend alternatives if a restaurant's hours don't match guests' preferred schedule. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Tranquility Beach Anguilla on Meads Bay Beach.

On a trip the previous year to Anguilla, which happened to be our honeymoon we spotted Tranquility Beach along Meads Bay and made note for our One Year Anniversary Trip. I wish I could say our arrival was smooth, but we experienced flight delays, airport changes, you name it. But, our secret weapon was having Tranquility Beach on our side. Holy smokes I cannot thank their staff enough for their prompt responses, ferry bookings, well wishes when we felt so alone. When we finally arrived, I can’t even explain how blown away we were. I almost wish we could keep this place a secret! From the furnishings, amenities, cheerful staff, we were blown away. We’ve stayed at the Four Seasons previously and had a wonderful time, but this place made us feel at home. Sam and Deshaun on the beach were highly hospitable, but also incredibly down to earth, welcoming, full of recommendations, stories, drink suggestions, you name it! Deanna, Kemeisha, and Abiel at the office were able to help us with anything we needed, from silly questions to reservations, they were there for us throughout the entire stay. Special shout-out to Panther, the sweet kitty that hangs around… we LOVED him! In all, this resort is the most perfect stay on Meads Bay. We cannot wait to book for 2024!!

Loved the use of the WhatsApp group for setting up activities and calling taxis. The beach is gorgeous and perfectly located near everything. The rooms themselves felt very clean and luxurious. The bed was very comfy. Everything about this place was amazing. Had an amazing honeymoon.
